Torrie Wilson Biography
Starting her career as a Fitness model, Torrie
Wilson accomplished winning the Ms. Galaxy Florida
and the Ms. Galaxy Nova Championship "physique" titles
in 1998, before entering the wrestling world. She was
spotted by Kevin Nash, and approached by him to possibly
try out for a WCW Contract. She got that contract, and
made her debut in 1999, first under the name "Samantha,"
as a valet for David Flair. She was later a valet for
Billy Kidman and his stable, the Filthy Animals. A highlight
of this era was a feud against The Revolution (Dean Malenko,
Shane Douglas, Asya and Chris Benoit). This often brought
her face to face with the intimidating Asya (Christie
Wolf). Among the women she squared off with during her
time with WCW were Paisley (Sharmell Sullivan), Daffney,
and Madusa.
In 2001, she signed a contract with the WWF and took part
in there "Invasion" storyline. She joined Stacy Keibler
in a feud against Trish Stratus and Lita. On July 22,
2001, at the Invasion Pay Per View, Trish Stratus and
Lita defeated her and Stacy Keibler in a Bra and Panties
match. Ivory (Lisa Moretti) later joined forces with her
and Stacy as their mentor. This prompted Molly Holly and
Jacqueline to join in the fight against them. Matches
include August 6, 2001 on RAW, where she and Stacy Keibler
beat Jacqueline in a Handicap match and August 19, 2001--at
Summerslam's pre-show, as Jacqueline, Molly Holly and
Lita defeated her, Ivory and Stacy Keibler.
After the Invasion storyline, the majority of the WWE
women pursued the WWE Women's Championship, leaving her
and Stacy out of the picture. She and Stacy then feuded
against each other until the Smackdown and RAW brand splits
put an end to the feud. During this time, she aligned
herself with the "Japanese Buzzsaw" Tajiri. A jealous
"boyfriend," storyline came into play and their relationship
ended.
In late 2002, she started a very controversial feud against
Dawn Marie. Dawn Marie eventually married Torrie's Father;
Al Wilson, who later died on-screen. A funeral was held
on the January 16th, 2003 edition of Smackdown, in which
Dawn Marie hit Torrie in the back of the head with a vase,
leaving her unconscious. On January 19th, 2003 at the
Royal Rumble Pay Per View, she defeated Dawn Marie in
a Step-Daughter vs Step-Mother match, which ended the
feud. Many felt as if the WWE went too far with this storyline.
On the April 3, 2003 edition of Smackdown, Torrie's Playboy
"Coming Out" party was interrupted by the shocking return
of Sable
(Rena Mero). Sable then played psychological games
with her in the next couple of weeks. On the April 24
2003, Sable instructed Nidia and Dawn Marie to attack
her, and at Backlash 2003, she instigated a fight between
her and Stacy Keibler. Sable's ego was then crushed when
she was defeated in a bikini contest at Judgment Day,
when Tazz declared her the winner.
On July 11, 2003, Torrie Wilson married real-life boyfriend
Billy Kidman--real name Peter Gruner.
Later in the year, she had a short lived rivalry against
the amazon; Shaniqua (Linda Miles). On September 4th 2003,
Shaniqua interrupted a bikini contest by attacking her,
Nidia, and Dawn Marie. The following week she retaliated,
by hitting Shaniqua in the back of the head with a steal
chair. Shaniqua however proved to be too dominating for
the Playboy model the following week on September 18th
2003, by demolishing both her and Nidia in a handicap
match.
On the February 5 2004 edition of Smackdown, announcer
Rue Debona announced that she and Sable would appear in
Playboy together. The two were then seen together on WWE
television promoting the issue on numerous occasions.
The new found partnership lead them to a March 14, 2004
Wrestlemania XX, "Playboy Evening Gown" match, where there
they defeated Jackie Gayda & Stacy Keibler in a short
lived rivalry.
She continued on having matches and T&A contest against
other Smackdown women; Dawn Marie, Nidia, Sable and Jackie
Gayda. On the June 24th 2004 edition of Smackdown, Sable
turned against her, where the ladies had a catfight, this
lead to Sable defeating her in a wrestling match on June
27th 2004, at the Great American Bash Pay Per View. Days
later, she defeated Sable with DDT, in the rematch on
the July 1, 2004 edition of Smackdown. She went into 2005
competing against the likes of Hiroko, Joy Giovanni, Michelle,
Lauren and Rochelle. A highlight was a short lived feud
against Melina Perez, that featured a match at the Great
American Bash.
On August 22, 2005, she and Candice Michelle were traded
to RAW for Stacy Keibler and Christy Hemme who went to
Smackdown. Her and Candice then turned heel, by attacking
the 2005 Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro. Soon after,
they teamed up with Victoria, and went on to compete in
Raw Diva Contests and Match-ups for the rest of the year,
later referring to themselves as "Vince's Devils." The
alliance spilled over into 2006, however it ended on the
March 6, 2006 edition of RAW, as Candice Michelle unveiled
her Playboy cover, during which she was attacked by Candice
Michele and Victoria, creating a rivalry.
She continued to wrestle throughout the year and started
an onscreen relationship with wrestler; Carlito Cool in
October of 2006. Her relationship with Carlito ended in
May of 2007, and she was drafted back to Smackdown in
June of 2007. There, she and Victoria feuded. She competed
in numerous matches until November 2007, when she took
time of for physical therapy due to back injuries. During
this time, launched a clothing line called "Officially
Jaded," with then boyfriend Nick Mitchell,
and she appeared on the February 6, 2008 episode of Bravo
network's Project Runway. Unfortunately for Torrie, on
May 8, 2008, she was released from her WWE contract. Torrie
Wilson also officially divorced Billy Kidman in 2008.
On June 1 2009, NBC's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out
of Here! premiered, in which she was a contestant.
Other celebrities included Janice Dickinson, Stephen Baldwin,
Heidi Montag and more. In the end, she was the runner-up,
with Lou Diamond Phillips winning the contest.

professional baseball play Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod).
By 2012, Torri Wilson and NFL star Alex Rodriguez's
romance became public to the general public. The
