Rockin' Robin's Biography

For Rocking Robin, the Wrestling business is a family affair. Her father was a wrestler; Grizzly Smith and her two brothers are Jake "the Snake" Roberts, and Sam Houston. In North Carolina, she trained under wrestler; Nelson Royal and later made a WWF debut on November 26, 1987 at Survivor Series 1987 at the Richfield, OH Coliseum. There The Fabulous Moolah, Velvet McIntyre, Rockin Robin, & the Jumping Bomb Angels defeated WWF Women's Champion Sensational Sherri, WWF Women's Tag Team Champions Lelani Kai & Judy Martin (w/ Jimmy Hart), Dawn Marie, and Donna Christianello. Rockin' Robin was eliminated by Sensational Sherri.

Rockin' Robin and Sensational Sherri soon after began a feud, and worked matches across the country through 1988. On October 7, 1988 in Paris, France, Rockin Robin pinned Sensational Sherri to become the WWF Women's Champion. She then went on to wrestle Sensational Sherri & Judy Martin, around the USA for the rest of her reign.
Her early Years of theatre before getting into wrestling, was shown in one of her huge WWF moments, as she sang the national anthem at Wrestlemania V. The Women's Title was then abandoned (It was reinstated in 1993).

After the WWF, Rockin' Robin then competed Ladies Professional Wrestling Association (LPWA). There she teamed up with another former WWF Women's Champion Wendi Richter.
Another crowning moment came on June 9th, 1991 when Rockin' Robin defeated Candi Divine for become the UWF Women's World Champion.
