Brooke Adams was born Brooke Nichole
Adams, on December 4, 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Brooke currently resides in Houston, Texas, and is best known for portraying Brooke Tessmacher in TNA Wrestling.
Brooke Adams began her wrestling career in the Summer
of 2006, as a contestant in the 2006 WWE Diva Search
competition. Despite not making it to the Top 8, Brooke
was signed to a
WWE developmental
contract, and began training in WWE territory; Deep
South Wrestling.
Brooke's time in DSW included being a valet for Daniel Rodimer, Personal Assistant to General Manager Krissy Vaine, and wrestling in numerous matches.
On January 23, 2007, Brooke Adams made her debut on WWE programming. She was part of the ECW brand, along with Kelly Kelly and Layla El, collectively known as "Extreme Exposé." The ladies performed weekly dance routines on ECW on Sci Fi. During this time, Brooke competed in numerous WWE Diva contests and matches, including August 26, 2007, at SummerSlam 2007, where she competed in an Interpromotional Divas Battle Royal. The battle royal, was a match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Women's Championship. Brooke was the 1st of 12 Divas to be eliminated... thrown over the top ropes by Beth Phoenix. Extreme Expose were also booked in an angle where they all competed for the affection of The Miz.
Unfortunately for Brooke, she was released from her
WWE contract on November 1, 2007. During her short
stint on WWE programming, Brooke Adams appeared for
the WWE in rapper Timbaland's music video "Throw It
On Me," featuring The Hives. Ashley, Kelly Kelly,
Layla El, Torrie Wilson, and Maryse also appeared
in the video.
In 2010, Brooke Adams made her returned to wrestling.
On the March 29, 2010 airing of TNA Impact!, Brooke
was seen in a backstage segment with Eric Bischoff.
She was booked as Eric Bischoff's assistant, who was
the kayfabe owner of TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling)
at the time. Brooke was now known by the name "Miss
Tessmacher."
Her position led to her becoming "Knockout's Law," where she was put in charge of the Knockouts Division. This was short lived, and on the October 14, 2010 airing of TNA iMPACT, Eric Bischoff fired Ms. Tessmacher, and made her part of the Knockouts Division. Tessmacher made her TNA in-ring debut on the December 16, 2010 airing of Impact, where she was teamed with Mickie James, in a tournament for the vacant TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. They were defeated by Madison Rayne and Tara, due to VP of the Knockouts Karen Jarrett distracting referee Earl Hebner, so they could pick up a cheap win.
In 2011, Ms. Tessmacher found success in the Knockouts
Tag-Team Division... She and Tara teamed up to form
TnT. On the on July 21, 2011 airing of Impact Wrestling,
Brooke Tessmacher and Tara defeated Mexican America
(Rosita and Sarita), to become Knockouts Tag-Team
Champions. The ladies went on to retain the belts
on August 7, 2011, at TNA Hardcore Justice in a rematch
with Sarita and Rosita. The ladies lost the belts
on the on November 3, 2011 airing of Impact Wrestling,
to Gail Kim and Madison Rayne. Tara and Brooke were
named
Lethalwow's
Tag-Team of the Year for 2011.
