Angel Orsini made her wrestling
debut in October of 1996 in a match against Chyna,
after being trained by the late Liz Chase for five
months. It wasn't long before she began winning
gold, which included the Sunshine Wrestling Federation
Women's Championship, Ultimate Wrestling Federation
Women's Championship and Florida Championship Wrestling
Women's Championship.
In 2000, she began appearing in Extreme Championship
Wrestling as "The Prodigette." There she managed
the Sideshow Freaks (Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger,
The Muskateer, Tom Marquez and Bilvis Wesley), and
also feuded with Jazz. She would also win the Hot-TV
Wrestling title and PGWA title in 2000.
After ECW, she wrestled for numerous independence
promotions in the United States and in Europe. Title
wins included the Women's Extreme Wrestling Tag
Team titles w/Simply Luscious and the Dutch Freestyle
Championship Wrestling Lightweight title. On February
2, 2006, she injured her heels in a ladder match
against Sumie Sakai an was for a year.
She returned to action in February of 2007, which
included shows for Women Extreme Wrestling, and
Pro Wrestling Unplugged. She later made her debut
for Women Superstars Uncensored, beginning a feud
with "Primetime" Amy Lee, with the feud spilling
into 2008. Later, on May 31, 2008, she defeated
Nikki Roxx to win the Women Superstars Uncensored
world title. Angel went on to defend the title against
Amy Lee, Mercedes Martinez, Jana, Annie Social,
Portia Perez, Kara Slice and many more.
She went into 2009 as the Women Superstars Uncensored
Champion. On her heels after the title was Mercedes
Martinez, which was a heated rivalry. On January
10, 2009 at WSU Poetic Justice Caged, Angel Orsini
defeated Mercedes Martinez in a Steel Cage match,
to retain the WSU championship. After another successful
title defense on February 7, 2009 against Kylie
Pierce, Mercedes Martinez brought Angel’s 280 day
title reign to an end in a bullrope match on March
7, 2009 at WSU’s second anniversary show.
Despite loosing the title, she remained a key player
in WSU. On April 10, 2009, she won the WSU Women’s
J-Cup Tournament, defeating Annie Social in a 1st
Round match, Trixxie Lynn in a 2nd round match,
and Rain in the finals. As her feud with Mercedes
continued, the ladies made history on June 6, 2009
when Mercedes Martinez defeated Angel Orsini in
an Iron Woman Match that went over 60minues. This
marked the last time Angel could challenge Mercedes
for the title; however, she would hold gold again.
Various turn of events led to November 7, 2009,
where Angel Orsini and Mercedes Martinez defeated
Jessicka Havoc and Hailey Hatred to win the WSU
Tag Titles in a hard fought battle.
She also feuded with Rain in WSU—towards the end
of 2009—as their alliance fell apart. Their bad
blood came to ahead on October 3, 2009 at WSU Excellence,
where she lost an “Uncensored Rules” match against
Rain. Angel continued wrestling at various shows
for the promotion, with another history making match
on December 12, where she faced former ECW rival
Jazz.
