On the August 2, 2010 edition of Raw, WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox, Jillian & Tamina took on Gail Kim, Natalya and Eve. After the match, fan favorite Melina Perez made her anticipated return.
On the July 12, 2010 edition of Raw, WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox defeated Gail Kim, and we found out that she would be defending the Divas Title at Money in the Bank against Eve Torres.
On the June 21, 2010 edition of Raw, Natalya faced off against Tamina. Also on Raw, was WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox and Eve involved in mixed tag team action.
This week on Raw, the Usos and Tamina introduced themselves after last week’s attack on The Hard Dynasty. Also on Raw, was a mixed tag team match, and Alicia Fox executing a “hit” on Zack Ryder.
—After last week’s attack on The Hard Dynasty, the Uso Bothers and Tamina (Sarona Snuka) introduced themselves this week in a promo. The Hart Dynasty ran down to the ring to execute some revenge but unfortunately, the outcome was very much the same as last week, with the Uso clan hitting top rope cross bodies on all three members.
Thoughts: After last week’s debut, this was an excellent follow-up, and an instant hit. With the lackluster action from the women in Raw in recent times, this is definitely a feud to look forward to. While Tamina may not have the wrestling experience of Natalya, if booked right, this can be the Women’s feud of the year.
This week on WWE Superstars, Gail Kim defeated Katie Lea, in a warm up match for her match against Maryse at WWE Elimination Chamber. Will she become the new WWE Divas Champion come Sunday? On Smackdown, we found out that Mickie would be defending her WWE Women’s Championship against Michelle McCool on next week’s Smackdown, and Maria and Natalya saw some ring-action in a 6-person mixed tag match.
On the December 14, 2009 episode of Raw, the WWE Divas came dressed to impressed for the Slammy Awards. The ladies were booked in a 14-Woman Tag Team match, with the 2009 Diva of the year award being revealed shortly after.
On the December 4, 2009 episode of Smackdown, the crème de la crème of the WWE Divas was on display as Natalya, Mickie James and Beth Phoenix battled in a #1 contender match for the WWE Women’s title.
