This week’s WWE Divas action ended with two tag-team matches…On WWE Superstars, The Bella Twins took on Jillian and Katie Lea, and on Smackdown, “Simply Flawless” Michelle McCool & Layla faced “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix and former General Manager of ECW Tiffany.

This week on TNA Impact, Daffney’s rampage continued. This time, her victim was Angelina Love, however Tara sent Daffney a message loud and clear in the end. During the segment, it was announced that Tara will defend the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship at Destination X against Daffney. On the WWE end of things, WWE Divas champion Maryse defeated Kelly Kelly, and we got a surprise appearance from Michelle McCool, Layla and Vickie Guerrero

After weeks of the WWE Divas title being vacant, it looks like we will have more weeks of a vacant Divas title. Maryse vs. Gail Kim did not happen at WWE Elimination Chamber. Instead, there was a WWE Divas tag team match where Michelle McCool and Layla defeated Gail Kim and Maryse.

This week on Smackdown, Michelle McCool and Layla defeated WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James in a handicap match.

This week on WWE Superstars, Alicia Fox & Katie Lea picked up a win against Kelly Kelly & Eve, when Alica Fox pinned Kelly Kelly. On Smackdown, in an impromptu match, Beth Phoenix & Mickie James defeated Michelle McCool & Layla, when Mickie pinned Layla.

This week on WWE Superstars, The Bella Twins defeated Jillian & Katie Lea in a tag team match. One day later on WWE Smackdown, Michelle McCool pinned Layla (dressed as Mickie James), in a parody match to further make mockery of Mickie James.

On Tuesday 26, 2009, the WWE taped Smackdown’s January 29 show in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the show, was more build to Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Women’s Championship.

On the January 22, 2010 episode of Smackdown, Mickie and Michelle’s feud reached its boiling point, and Serena Deeb ,made her WWE debut.
