—This past Sunday at TNA Sacrifice, Taylor Wilde defeated Daffney in the Knockouts Monster’s Ball Match, and Angelina Love defeated Awesome Kong to retain the Knockouts Title. Both matches left much to be desired, as Taylor vs. Daffney’s purpose was to further Abyss’ storyline with Richards, and while Angelina retained her title, she for the most part got no offense against Kong.
—On another note, Lisa Marie Varon, better known was 2-Time WWE Women’s Champion, Victoria, is set to make her debut on this week’s iMPACT!, Be sure to tune in.
—The Awesome Kong vs. Cute Kip stretcher match drew huge ratings, drawing an a 1.37 quarter, one of the biggest quarter hour numbers in several weeks.
—A TNA KNOCKOUTS WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP match, Angelina Love(c) vs. Awesome Kong has been confirmed for TNA Sacrifice. Hopefully a Pay Per View Quality Knockouts Stretcher match.
—TNA will also be having the first-ever Knockouts MONSTER’S BALL match, which should feature Daffney.
—This week on iMPACT!, Kong spoke for the first time, “Dumb Blonde!, Dead Blonde!”…ummm TNA is attempting to have Kong evolve? One thing is for certain, if she keeps on in this direction, she might not need Raisha Saeed.

Who is TNA Women’s Champion Angelina Love getting as backup in her war against Awesome Kong? With Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne injured, who will Angelina turn to for help?
TNA has had some absurd bookings and company decisions over the last couple of months, however recent rumors since Sunday, on the status of Jacqueline Moore, and now Roxxi. If the rumors does indeed turn out to be true, it is simple down right self-destructive on the companies part—they will continue to burry the once highly revered Knockouts Division. In 2008, TNA proved their stupidity when they could not hold on to arguably the most athletic and recognizable face of the Knockouts, Gail Kim. Their stupidity has not only been with the knockouts, but with the entire roster, how else to you explain outstanding wrestlers such as Sanjay Dutt and Petey Williams being released, who should have undoubtibly been the future of the company.
There has been numerous interesting headlines, rumors and turn of events in the last couple of days in the Women of Wrestling continuum. From Adult film star Trina Michaels making headlines to Maria Kanellis becoming number 1 contender for the Divas Championship.
—This week, reporters decided to publish the story of an adult star and AVN Award nominee; Trina Michaels, training to become a pro wrestler—most websites ran with the story. The story itself is a couple of weeks late because Trina Michaels has been training for some time now. She has worked as a manager for AWS, NWWL, PWA, WEW and XPW.
—Lethalwow.com now has an exclusive interview up with Shimmer Wrestler Ashley Lane. Click Here For The Interview. Ashley talks about wanting to be WWE Women’s Champion, TNA Wrestling, Shantelle Taylor, ODB, Tracy Brooks and much more.
—After being in Chicago for Bound for Glory, it was reported that TNA chose not to bring in a few talents for last week’s iMPACT! tapings. ODB, Rhaka Khan and Traci Brooks were on the last and were not featured on last week’s iMPACT!.
—Christy Hemme on the other hand was featured on iMPACT! in a big way. After internet buzz of a possible face turn, this rumor seems to be right on track. In a backstage segment, a very emotion Christy Hemme stopped Kurt Angle from continuing his attack on Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave by using herself as a shield. In a later segment she was on her way to the hospital, but suffered an unprovoked attack from The Beautiful People. Christy has challenged on of The Beautiful People for a match this week in Las Vegas. See the video below…
—In Las Vegas Awesome Kong will challenge Taylor Wilde for the TNA Knockouts title.
—TNA regular Sojourner Bolt has a new interview up on lethalwow.com. She talks about wrestling for TNA, Shimmer and more. Sojourner Bolt picked up a tag team victory in a pre-Bound for Glory match.Click Here for the Interview.
—Maria Kanellis became the number 1 contender for the WWE Divas title this past Thursday on Smackdown! She won over Natalya, Brie Bella, Victoria and Maryse in a Las Vegas pole match. Uneventful match (even for a pole match) with Maryse looking the strongest. The WWE missed some opportunities to pull of some nice spots and have the WWE Divas show-up the TNA Knockouts.
—Maria Kanellis photos from Mercedez Benz Fashion week 2009 are now online.
—WWE.com has new photo shoots of Jillian Hall (probably one of her best shoots), Maryse, Natalya, Mickie James and Layla El.
—Stacy Keibler is the November 2008 cover girl for Maxim Magazine.
—Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie shoot interviews from RFVideo are now available.
Last night, October 12, 2008, at Bound for Glory IV, O.D.B., Rhaka Khan, and Rhino defeated The Beautiful People (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Cute Kip) and Taylor Wilde (c) defeated Awesome Kong (with Raisha Saeed) and Roxxi, retaining her Women’s title. In a Bound for Glory dark match, Eric young and Sojourner Bolt (Josie) defeated Lance Rock and Christy Hemme.
— O.D.B., Rhaka Khan, and Rhino defeated Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Cute Kip (Traci Brooks was the special guest referee) …Sadly this was the dud of the Pay Per View. A match that should have been on iMPACT! that was only on the card to get ODB, Rhino, and The Beautiful People on the pay per view…entertaining never-the-less. No one can deny that ODB is extremely over anywhere she goes…certainly an asset to the Knockouts division. The inter-gender interaction was believable and entertaining with weaker wrestlers ODB, Rhaka Khan and Velvet Sky looking good. Rhino got the win after hitting Cute Kip with a gore. It certainly may be the lowest rated match based on wrestling but certainly on top of the list as far as entertainment goes. It’s worth seeing for that value.
The overall consensus on the internet gives this match below 1 to 1 stars.
—Taylor Wilde (c) defeated Awesome Kong (with Raisha Saeed) and Roxxi…the “upset Queen” has done it again to the dismay of many who wanted to see Roxxi walk away with the gold, with the second choice being Kong. Like most of Taylor’s title matches, it fell short with an anticlimactic end. All three women were on their A-Game and for the little time they got, we saw some great wrestling. Fast paced with some innovation from Taylor Wilde. We saw Roxxi get alot of offense on Kong, and Kong debuting a crossbody block in TNA. With a minor rope slip from Taylor, it’s undeniable that these women are amazing wrestlers however the match came up short with not enough time and a bad finish. This match showed signs that it could have been match of the year if given more time.
The overall consensus on the internet gives this match between 2 to 3 stars.
