This week on Raw, LayCool invaded Raw once again, teaming up with Maryse to defeat Eve Torres and The Bella Twins. This segment served as the go-home match for WWE Over The Limit, where Maryse will challenge Eve for the WWE Divas title.

WWE Divas – May 17, 2010 Raw Match:
Maryse & LayCool vs. Eve & The Bellas

WWE Women’s Champion Layla and Michelle McCool made their way to the ring first (With two WWE Women’s titles), followed by their tag team partner Maryse. The Bella Twins and Eve were out next for the match. Before the bell rang, Eve and Maryse had to be separated.

Layla and Eve began the match, with Layla on fire. Eve took control with a Samoa drop, and later tagged in one of the Bella twins (presumably Nikki). Layla was able to regain control, with Layla adding damage with Layla attacking Nikki. Michelle was tagged in briefly, and later Layla. After missing a leg drop, Layla tagged McCool back in. Nikki was able to take control of Michelle up until missing a second rope springboard crossbody. Maryse then tagged herself in, and hit her DDT finisher for the win.

Winner(s): LayCool and Maryse at 3:40

Thoughts: Once again, Maryse did one move in a match, something we have come to expect from her, so why should we look forward to her match at WWE Over The Limit? What is more interesting is the WWE Women’s title situation… So Layla and Michelle are co-holders? ummm.

WWE Divas – May 17, 2010 Raw Match:
Gail Kim & Evan Bourne vs. Alicia Fox & Zack Ryder

—Also on Raw, was Gail Kim & Evan Bourne versus Alicia Fox and Zack Ryder. This match came about after Zack and Alicia interrupted the guest host Buzz Aldrin—and of course, the pairing of Gail Kim/Evan Bourne and Alicia/Zack happened in the last two editions of Raw. The ending of the match saw Gail Kim hit her “Eat Defeat” for the win. Gail Kim and Evan Bourne celebrated with Buzz Aldrin after the match.

Winner(s): Gail Kim & Evan Bourne at 3:22

Thoughts: Great to see Gail Kim and Alicia in the spotlight once again. Hopefully Gail and Alicia become permanent valets for Evan and Zack.

—Independent wrestler Cherry Bomb, who has been reported to have received a WWE tryout match, made an on screen appearance, as Goldust’s date during a shopwwe.com commercial?.
