On this week’s episode of Impact, The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Lacey Von Erich) picked up a big win, defeating TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Tara, and the TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions Awesome Kong and Hamada.

On the January 14, 2010 episode of Impact, Angelina Love made her much anticipated return to TNA, and ODB vs. Tara in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match was booked for TNA “Genesis.”

Jersey All Pro Wrestling returned for a Women’s Division show on Saturday January 8, “back where it all began.” The show included women’s wrestling favorites; Sassy Steph; Sumie Sakai; TNA’s Knockout Tag Champ Hamada; Portia Perez; Annie Social; Sara Del Rey; Cheerleader Melissa; Hailey Hatred; Brittany Force and more.

January 4, 2010, on the historic live 3-hour Impact going up against WWE Raw, both the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship and TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship changed hands.

On December 31, 2009, the women of TNA ended the year with a bang. Eight women competed in a tournament to determine the #1 contender for the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship, which rejuvenated credibility in the Women’s Knockout Championship by having a show dedicated to establishing a #1 contender. Also on the show, was the TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions Sarita and Taylor Wilde in action.

New Year’s Eve 2009 will be a historic night for the TNA Knockouts. TNA taped an All-Knockouts special on Monday December 21, which featured Awesome Kong, Roxxi, The Beautiful People, Hamada, ODB, SariTaylor and a few surprise names.

The December 17, 2009 episode of Impact saw final build for the Knockouts Championship match at TNA Final Resolution: ODB(c) vs. Tara, and planted seeds for increased competition within the Knockouts Tag Team Division.

The December 10, 2009 episode of TNA Impact saw 4 matches involving Knockouts. Hamada faced Eric Young in a TNA Global Championship match, Awesome Kong & Scott Steiner vs. Kristal & Bobby Lashley, ODB vs. Tara in a hardcore match, and Lacey Von Erich vs. Velvet Sky in a Mud Wrestling match.

The December 3, 2009 episode of Impact saw Hamada take on half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Sarita. The show also saw Tara as the guest on “Trash Talkin’ With ODB,” The Beautiful People attacking Lauren Brooke in the “Meanest Girls Part III,” and an in-ring promo from Kristal Lashley.
