—F4wonline.com reported that there is backstage heat on ODB due to a facebook comment she made a few weeks ago…

After watching the Apr. 12 episode of iMPACT!, she wrote on her Facebook account: “Just watched from my DVR the Knockouts match. Wow, WTF is happening to our division?” This was in reference to a teased ‘Leather & Lace’ match between Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.

This has been reported to be the reason she has not been used on TNA television in recent weeks.

If this rumor is true, this is very sad for ODB, especially since most of the internet wrestling community would agree with her comment. Social networks can be great, and they can be ugly. True or not, certain opinions should not be made public when you are under contract with a company. ODB was not used in this week’s month worth of Impact episodes… this may not be a good sign for ODB’s future in the company.

I usually don’t do this, but I have been asked numerous times over the last 24 hours about recent rumors involving me, and while 99% of the time I let things go, I’d like to clear this one up… just because

First of all, the reports about me “missing appearances” lately due to financial trouble are false. When Daffney and Angelina were both injured a few weeks ago, other girls needed to be put on the house shows that weekend. The reason I was not sent had nothing to do w/ money. I had been nursing a nagging injury of my own and everyone felt it would be in my best interst to take the 10 days I had off and let my body heal. Plain and simple Nothing more to it. So please don’t fret… Mama Rayne is going to have a fantastic Mother’s Day and I’m still getting a pedicure and new pair of shoes tomorrow morning LoL!

aaand denn, those silly rumors about there being heat in the locker room… all i’m going to say to that is, i’ve been a cheerleader, i’ve done beauty pageants and fitness modeling… and if y’all want drama, check out one of those backstage areas LoL.

The internet loooves stirring the pot and making huge issues out of nothing. I give you guys my word, that both personally and professionally I am very, very happy. Things are going well, I love my Vel Vel and Lace Face, and I am extremely blessed to have the family, friends, fans and job that I have. —The Beautiful People are set to defend both the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship and TNA Women’s Knockout Championship on the May 3, 2010 edition of Impact. This is a big reveal—not only because of the injuries of Daffney and Angelina Love, but also interesting due to the ongoing reports of the future status of Tara, Sarita and Taylor Wilde in TNA, who are the challengers. With Angelina Love and Daffney not on impact for the next few weeks, will we see women like Sarita, Taylor and Hamada used more? Will Tara and TNA come to an agreement for her to continue working in TNA? A shocker would definitely be Tara, Sarita and Taylor Wilde walking away champions.

—Dangerous Women of Wrestling will be having two shows in May—May 7th 2010 and May 27th 2010. —While on Google news, I stumbled upon an article from hittheropes.com, which pretty much sums up how a lot of fans feel about TNA and the WWE’s treatment of Women at present time… “Women Get Treated Like Crap.” Among the subjects written about was the Awesome Kong vs. Bubba the Love Sponge situation, the release of Mickie James, Maria, and more. Episode 2 of Season 9 of The Apprentice aired this past Sunday night at 9pm on NBC (March 21, 2010), with former WWE Diva Maria being the project manger for the Women’s Team.

On episode two of The Celebrity Apprentice 3 (The Apprentice 9)—In a very risky move early in the competition—Maria Kanellis stepped up to the plate and took the helm as project manager for the women’s team; “Tenacity.” In the challenge, each team had to run a Kodak Storefront. Maria’s vision included a wrestling ring with title belts, and a red carpet. In the end, the Kodak presidents believed that the women promoted the product better, and they won the challenge. That gave Maria $20,000 for her charity, the “Make a Wish Foundation.”

—Scrippsnews.com has a new article up on Maria, promoting her job as a backstage correspondent on the “King of the Cage: Legacy” mixed-martial-arts show on HD-Net. Addressed in the article was her unexpected release from the WWE and Celebrity Apprentice. One very interesting note was her describing her wrestling ability:

“I lost all the time,” Kanellis said. “I wasn’t blessed with amazing wrestling ability. I worked my tail off to get better. But some people look good fighting and some look like spiders in the ring. I was a spider with only seven legs and one dangling. I watch some of my matches and say, ‘Oh dear.’ I think people felt sorry for me and thought, ‘I know that girl,’ or, ‘I am that girl.’ “

—Former TNA Knockout Awesome Kong will be wrestling for Ring of Honor on May 8th, 2010 at the Manhattan Center. She will take on Sara Del Rey. On March 25, the website posted “We hinted at it a couple of days ago, and now it is done…Ring of Honor management has finalized the contracts and it is official,” which spawned news sites reporting that Kong has “signed” with Ring of Honor.

Kong posted the following on Twitter:

“I feel very happy to be joining the ROH roster!”
