Last night at the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas, for TNA's Victory Road we saw Gail Kim defeat Angelina Love (accompanied by Velvet Sky) and Taylor Wilde (c) defeat Awesome Kong (accompanied by Raisha Saeed) to retain her TNA Knockouts title. Another highlight was Sharmell returning to TNA programming by getting involved in the main event; Samoa Joe vs Booker T.

- In a Knockouts match, Gail Kim defeated Angelina Love, despite interference by Velvet Sky. After the bout, Velvet and Angelina double-teamed Gail and tried to paper-bag her, but Gail escaped the ring.
- TNA newcomer Taylor Wilde surprised Awesome Kong by defeating her AGAIN to retain the TNA Knockout Women's Championship after Taylor used Kong's own weight to get the roll-up pin. After the bout, Raisha Saeed attacked Taylor and threw her back in the ring for Kong, who annihilated the Women's Champion with a piledriver. When Kong attempted a second pildriver on a steel chair, Abyss hit the ring to save Taylor! Abyss ended up nailing the Black Hole Slam on Saeed and then carried off Taylor. Of the two matches, Gail vs Angelina was clearly the more competitive match as opposed to Taylor vs Kong in which we saw Kong dominate once again, with Taylor seeming having another fluke win against Kong. Why give Taylor the title and not just have her win the $25,000 Fan Challenge is still questionable. TNA could have built Taylor much more before a title win., evidently by the lack of reaction from fans in Houston, Texas, with most of them being unfamiliar with with Taylor. While enjoyable, the Knockouts simple didn't deliver to the expectations attached to the division.
