TNA Wrestling has continued to make strides in building a successfully women's Division, and making their female talent a major part of the show.
 This week on iMPACT!, we will see the singles match debut of Shelly Martinez as Salinas of LAX taking on the TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong. This match may very well be a squash match and not live up to the highest rated segment on iMPACT last week: Angelina Love w/ Velvet Sky vs. Awesome Kong w/Raisha Saeed, which has been greatly praised among wrestling critics (Click Here to View the Match). Angelina (Angel Williams) is phenomenal and hopefully TNA will let her showcase her talent more in the near future.
The match set up a well booked segment to built up the Destination X Women's title match of Awesome Kong (c) vs. Gail Kim vs. ODB. O.D.B and Gail Kim cleared the ring of Awesome Kong, with Raisha Saeed preventing Kong from engaging in retaliation.
During the match, it was also announced that Raisha Saeed wrestled with Awesome Kong in Japan...this is relevant because it foreshadows that she is a wrestler and will eventually get in the ring. For weeks, Internet fans have speculated that Raisha Saeed is top tier Indy worker Cheerleader Melissa, so this is great news for her future in TNA. (Click Here to learn more on Raisha Saeed).
 Also that night, Rhaka Khan, Jackie Moore, Karen Angle, and Roxxi Laveaux (who spoke for the first time), were featured on the show however, among them, Traci Brooks and Payton Banks were the winners, featured in two in-ring segments that furthered their feuds as well as the Booker T vs. Robert Roode feud. The segments featured Payton Banks slapping Booker T, a catfight between Traci and Payton, Traci with a successful take down on Robert Roode, and an ending of Booker T and Traci Brooks being handcuffed to the ring and whipped with belts.
Speaking of Traci Brooks, on SATURDAY, MARCH 8 she will be appearing with "Cowboy" James Storm and Eric Young will appear at Fort Lee Post Exchange from 2-4pm to visit with the troops in Norfolk. (Source: TNAWrestling.com)

- Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim to retain the TNA Knockout title
02/23/08 - TNA House Show: Elmira, New York
- Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim and Jackie Moore in a Triple Threat match to retain the TNA Knockout title
In attendance in New York's Webster Hall was 900 (Sold Out), 3,000 in Westbury, Long Island (Sold Out) and 1,500 in Elmira, NY.
O.D.B and Gail Kim are expected to appear in shows in SPENCER, IOWA on FRIDAY, APRIL 4, 2008 at the
CLAY COUNTY REGIONAL EVENTS CENTER, and LINCOLN, NEBRASKA on SATURDAY, APRIL 5 at THE PERSHING CENTER.
