 All year, Women's Wrestling fans speculated on what the Women's title match would be this year. A dream match maybe? Mickie James (reverting back into he psycho gimmick) and Women's Champion; Beth Phoenix going at it in a 10 minute match? or surely Candice Michelle would have to be in the match, so maybe a 3-Way? Not by the stretch of the imagination...At the WrestleMania XXIV press conference, Maria Kanellis and Candice Michelle announced that the Wrestlemania Women's match would be a "Playboy Bunny Mania" match. On yesterday's Raw, it was confirmed that the match was going to be Maria Kanellis and Candice Michelle vs Women's Champion; Beth Phoenix and Melina Perez in the "Playboy Bunny Mania" match.
Nothing new from the WWE in recent years...we've all come to accept that there's no prestige to the Women's Championship...Maria Kanellis has pinned in the Beth Phoenix, so who's to say she can't do it on the "grandest" stage of them all.
