In continuation of Lethalwow.com's "Getting to know" series, I caught up with NYWC Startlet Champion Nikki Syx. Nikki Syx was introduced to many fans in 2011, especially due to her recent appearances for WSU (Women Superstars Uncensored). On Saturday November 11, 2011, from Deer Park, NY, for WSU “Breaking Barriers 2--Live on Internet Pay-Per-View, Nikki Syx picked up a huge victory over 5 other women, to retain the NYWC Startlet Championship. She also made numerous previous WSU appearances in 2011, and has been a mainstay at ACE Wrestling and NYWC (New York Wrestling Connection). Among the subjects talked about was WSU, NYWC, and much more.

Arron Carlton: Hello Nikki, Thank you for joining me.

Nikki Syx (Twitter @BlackRoseSyx): Thank you for being interested in talking to me.

Arron Carlton: What have you been up to in recent weeks?

Nikki Syx: In recent weeks I have been up to a lot of wrestling with WSU, NYWC and valeting at ACE.

Arron Carlton: Yes indeed, 2011 has been a big year for you at NYWC, ACE, and you have been a mainstay at WSU Wrestling... What has been some highlights for you?

Nikki Syx: 2011 has been a great year, and I am very thankful for that. My biggest highlight would be becoming the first-ever NYWC Startlet Champion, and also making my debut at WSU.

Arron Carlton: Jessicka Havok certainly did not give you a good introduction to WSU. Do you think she has what it takes to defeat WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez at WSU's 5th Anniversary show?

Nikki Syx: Mercedes is a great wrestler and a great champion, but you never know what will happen.

Arron Carlton: Who have you been valeting for at ACE?

Nikki Syx: I have been valeting Stockade at ACE.

Nikki Syx and Tristan Spade Arron Carlton: And tell us a little bit more about NYWC

Nikki Syx: NYWC is my home... it is where I train and also where I was given my opportunity to shine.

Arron Carlton: How did you working for WSU come about?

Nikki Syx: I began working for WSU after having matches with Brittney Savage... She put in a good word for me, and I was given a chance there, where luckily I was able to impress the WSU management.

Arron Carlton: When did you start your wrestling career?

Nikki Syx: I started training in March 2010, and made my debut in October of that year in a singles match with Brittney Savage.

Arron Carlton: Was this match for NYWC? And who won?

Nikki Syx: The match was for NWS... it was Brittney.

Wrestlers The Belle Saints Arron Carlton: Who trained you?

Nikki Syx: I have been trained by a few different people... like Pat Buck, Stockade, Alex Reynolds and Tony Nese

Arron Carlton: Who were some of your favorite wrestlers to work with in the ring since then?

Nikki Syx: My favorite wrestlers to work with since my first match would be Mercedes Martinez, Alicia and Brittney Savage.

Arron Carlton: Who were the wrestlers that inspired you to want to get into the business.

Nikki Syx: I had many wrestlers who inspired me to get into wrestling, some of them were Jake the Snake Roberts, Shawn Michaels, Sensational Sherri Martel.

Arron Carlton: Who do you want to get in the ring with in the future that you have yet to wrestle?

Nikki Syx: I would really love to work with Sara Del Rey, I think she is amazing and would really love that opportunity.

Arron Carlton: Of any of the current WWE Divas or TNA Knockouts, who would you want to work with?

Nikki Syx: I would love to work with Tara, she truly has been a big inspiration.

Arron Carlton: What are your thoughts on the differences of the Divisions?

Nikki Syx: Both divisions have a lot to offer, they both have great people you can work with, it is awesome that women have the opportunity to wrestle.

Arron Carlton: The first few times I saw you in the ring, the make-up, the outfits, and of course the name made you stand out. Was the name Nikki Syxx inspired by Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx?

Nikki Syx: I had the name Nikki already when I was with Dickie, Rickie and Nickie, but I never had a last name and my hair was all back and teased and it looked like Nikki Sixx's hair and that is how I got my name.

Arron Carlton: The look is certainly not the standard "Diva" look... Do you see that as an advantage or disadvantage in the wrestling business?

Nikki Syx: My look is 100% me. I love the crazy hair, the psychotic makeup and the outfits, it is truly what makes me Nikki Syx. It is an advantage that I stand out, but most importantly that I am who I am supposed to be.

Arron Carlton: Tell us about your move-set... What finishers are you using, and what are some of your signature moves?

Nikki Syx: My moveset consists of the Koji Clutch, tombstone, bicycle kick, back breakers, victim kicks and chops.

Arron Carlton: What do you ultimately hope to accomplish in this business?

Nikki Syx: Ultimately I would love to accomplish being a great wrestler, and be able to expand to other places, like Japan and more.

Arron Carlton: To all those aspiring wrestlers out there, what advice do you have for them?

Nikki Syx: To aspiring wrestlers I would tell them to try it, because if you don't you will always look back and say "what if?", also that give all your heart

Arron Carlton: Where can fans reach you?

Nikki Syx: Fans can reach me on facebook either under Nikki Syx or on twitter under @blackrosesyx.

Arron Carlton: Thank you for your time.

Nikki Syx: Again thank you for you time and speaking with me.
