Wrestler Mia Yim Arron Carlton: So how many years have you been in the business?

Mia Yim: Almost 2 years. I spent about a year training then started doing shows.

Arron Carlton: Who were you trained by?

Mia Yim: I was trained by John Kermon, Mark Bravura, and C.A. Elliot.

Arron Carlton: Did doubt about becoming a wrestler ever come into play at any point in your training?

Mia Yim: Sometimes, only because I would get discouraged about certain things that would come hard to me, but I was taught to never quit.

Arron Carlton: Who were some of your inspirations back then?

Mia Yim: Lita was one of my favorites. I wanted to be just like her

Mia Yim vs. Sara Del Rey
Arron Carlton: When did you have your first match, and who did you wrestle in that match?

Mia Yim: My first singles match was actually at EWE against Sara Del Rey. It was a great experience, as I got to learn from the best early in my career.

Arron Carlton: Who have been some of your favorite wrestlers to work with since then?

Mia Yim: Sara Del Rey, Annie Social, Roxie Cotton, Sassy Stephie

Arron Carlton: Which promotions have you worked for?

Mia Yim: JAPW, VCW, UCW, ACW, EWE, SPW. And I'm booked for RCW, MCW coming up.

Arron Carlton: How has it been working for JAPW?

Mia Yim: Working for JAPW is so much fun. Everyone there is so nice and assist me in perfecting my skill. Everyone there is very experienced, and I feel privileged to be a part of the show.

Arron Carlton: What are your thoughts on Shimmer, Wrestlicious and WSU?

Mia Yim: I have respect for all the All Female shows. I am looking to work for Shimmer soon, the other companies are rising as well. Nothing but respect for the companies and the ladies.

Arron Carlton: How would you describe your style of wrestling?

Mia Yim: I have my own style of wrestling. I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so I like to incorporate a bit of that into my wrestling.

Arron Carlton: On that note, what moves and finishers have you been using?

Mia Yim: Kick Me Goodnight (Sidekick to side of head), Spitfire (snapmare, kick combo with running knees to chest), Kiss of Dragon (Double Arm Hook DDT), and the Spinning Sole Kick Wrestler Mia Yim

Arron Carlton: Have you worked primarily as a heel or face?

    Mia Yim: Mainly face

Arron Carlton: Which do you prefer?

Mia Yim: I'm more comfortable with Face since I have more experience with it, but I don't mind trying new things

Arron Carlton: What do you ultimately hope to accomplish in this business?

Mia Yim: I hope to make it in WWE or TNA... Making wrestling an actual career... It would be fun.

Arron Carlton: There has been a lot of emphasize the "diva look," in making it to the WWE, and TNA to a lesser extent. You are definitely unique, in that you are half black and Korean. Do you see that as a negative or positive?

Mia Yim: I see it as a positive and negative. I don't believe I have the "Diva Look". I am convinced they want the Tan, Blonde, White, Blue Eyed chick. I'm just another girl trying to wrestle. Its a positive in a way because I am different. But it also leads to the negative because I'm different.

Arron Carlton: Who are some of your current favorites in the WWE and TNA?

Mia Yim: In WWE it would have to be Evan Bourne and Beth Phoenix. In TNA, It would be Samoa Joe and Hamada

Arron Carlton: To all those aspiring wrestlers out there, what advice do you have for them?

Mia Yim: Never give up. You will have alot of low points where you want to just give up but stick with it. There will be alot of jealous people trying to bring you down, but they are just jealous. Follow your dream, no matter what.

Arron Carlton: Thank you for your time!
