( 2011: Feud of the Year )

In 2011, one woman was undoubtedly the Breakout Star of Year in Women's Wrestling... Jessicka Havok. Into 2012, the Takeover has continued; captivating fans and critics alike. Thankfully she did not threaten us with a machete, like she did to Mercedes Martinez on November 19, 2011 at WSU's Breaking Barriers 2 Internet-Pay-Per-View... Just one of the moments that contributed to her being named Lethalwow.com's Heel of the Year.

In 2010, Jessicka Havok began her quest to become WSU World Champion, defeating the likes of ODB, Amy Lee, Nikki Roxx, Alicia, Rain and much more. Earning her spot in the Main Event at WSU's 5th Anniversary show.

Jessicka Havok joined me to talk about her excellent year in 2011, her year so far in 2012, and future plans. Among the subjects touched on, was her favorite moments of the past year, WSU, Mercedes Martinez, The Midwest Militia, having an "enemy" in TNA, her love of Zombie themed movies, The Walking Dead, and much more...

Arron Carlton: Hey Jessicka, Thank you for joining me.

Jessicka Havok (Twitter @J_HAV): Thanks for having me! I appreciate it!

Arron Carlton: How has 2012 been for you so far?

Jessicka Havok: 2012 has been awesome for me so far. I've been training hard, I've lost a lot of weight! Not to mention all the awards I've won!

Arron Carlton: Indeed, 2011 was such an incredible year for you, Especially in WSU.... You moved up on PWI's Female 50 for 2011. On Diva-Dirt.com's Writer's Choice Awards, you took home Independent Star of the Year, Independent match of the year, Heel of the Year, and Tag-Team of the year with the Midwest Militia. At Lethalwow.com, you won Heel of the Year, Feud of the Year, and much more...

How does it feel to be recognized so prominently for your work in 2011?

Jessicka Havok: To be recognized finally! by all fans, friends, and websites has been amazing. I have no words to describe how appreciative I am for all this. WSU is a big help in my career. They're such a successful women's wrestling company and with them giving me a chance to showcase my talent, I can't thank them enough. In my opinion they put me on the map.

Jessicka Havok and Tristan Spade Arron Carlton: What were some in-ring highlights for you in 2011?

Jessicka Havok: I have a few... One of which being when I wrestled Nikki Roxx in an Uncensored Rules match in WSU... I think that match is one of the ones that showed that even for a girl my size, I can wrestle with the best of them.

Another moment is when I defeated Rain for the WSU Spirit title... It was a hard fought match, but in the end, I came out on top... Loved it!

I also think that my feud with Alicia would have to be pretty important as well. With me doing what I did, and her mother getting involved, I think that raised a few eye brows and got some buzz going about me.

AC: Another highlight would be The War Games match, which has been highly talked about across the Internet. In such a short time, you, Allysin Kay, and Sassy Stephie have become one of the most recognizable factions in Independent Wrestling. How did the name Midwest Militia come about?

JH: Well, it's no secret... we are all friends. We spend countless hours, days, in the car with each other. It just made sense. Together, the 3 of us could take over the east coast.

Not many people get the pleasure of working with their friends. So it is actually awesome. We are all on the same level and we share a lot of the same views on things. Just another reason why it just works.

Wrestlers The Belle SaintsAC: You are no stranger to Tag-Team gold in WSU... You held the WSU Tag-Team Championship with Hailey Hatred. Would you like to see a tag-team run in the future for The Midwest Militia? Or is your goal 100 percent set on the WSU World Title?

JH: Although I've tagged with Hailey, and got a taste of that tag team gold, my goal is 100% for the WSU World Title. As far as in ring matches go, I prefer singles.

AC: I was a huge fan of Hailey and Havok... You two had such an amazing presence together. Hailey also had an amazing 2011. What is your thoughts on her success?

JH: I am pretty happy for her. We don't talk much anymore, but I know what her goals were when we were close. She is doing just what she wanted. I'm glad she has had success.

AC: You will face Mercedes Martinez at WSU's 5th anniversary show, what would it mean for you, to end Martinez's 3-year reign as WSU Champion?

JH: It would mean everything to me if I could end her reign. She along with hundreds of other people don't think I'm a worthy enough opponent. She doesn't think I deserve this because I'm a "bully." This will be a chance for me to prove I can be a true champion. I have so much emotion as far as this goes. I have a lot riding on me. Title vs Title, my undefeated singles streak, her longest reign as a champion. It's a bigger deal than one would think.

AC: If you defeat Mercedes, how likely will it be for us to see some Championship defenses in your neck of the woods?

JH: Oh, if I can beat Mercedes, I'm taking that title on the road with me. I want to show everyone what I am about. If I could win this world title.... it would be the proudest thing I have ever done.

AC: I received emails from concerned fans on certain Allysin Kay tweets. You must have been flooded with questions from concerned fans.

JH: Well, like myself, Allysin Kay doesn't bite her tongue. About all I can say is that no matter what, I back down from no one. Even if all odds are stacked against me.

AC: Do you think maybe the video trying to "find help" went a bit too far? I mean, bringing Martinez's religion into play.

JH: If I went to far, I don't care. I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to prove that I am the best. I also have the right to the freedom of speech and to my own beliefs. If I offended anyone, I'm not sorry. I said those things to make a point...

AC: What are your thoughts on WSU and nCw Femmes Fatales working together?

JH: I think it is a genius move, and great chance for each of these companies to showcase their top girls.

AC: In 2011, You defeated Rain for the WSU Spirit Championship, you defeated Angel Dust for the AIW Women's Champions, and you have been WSU Tag-Team Champion. What other Championships have you held over the years?

JH: I held the cruiser weight title in a shit company called "MEWL" once, but other than that, none. There aren't too many companies who recognize women's wrestling like WSU or AIW.

AC: Hopefully there are more titles in your future. You certainly have been in the ring with the best of the best female wrestlers in the United States. Who have you not been in the ring with, that you would like to wrestle in the future?

JH: I would Love to get in the ring with Sara Del Rey. She's awesome. I wanna see what she's got though! I would also like a one-on-one with Marti Belle. A couple others would be Cherry Bomb, Veda Scott, and Kellie Skater.

AC: You've been in the ring with two WWE icons; Ivory and Luna Vachon. Tell us about working with these women.

JH: Ivory was amazing to work with. She was very interested in me, and she helped me look like a million bucks out there... Luna however was a different story. She whooped my ass! I could write a novel about the two of these women but I don't want to bore your readers.

AC: Do you see yourself in World Wrestling Entertainment or TNA Wrestling in the future?

JH: My goal has always been the WWE. That being said, I don't like the way they treat their women. TNA was a goal in the beginning but long story short, without getting in to too much of a personal spat... I have an enemy there who said she would do whatever it takes to make sure I never get a shot. So there you go. In my opinion, I wanna go where women's wrestling matters. And I feel like I've made it.

AC: It is unfortunate that politics has to get in the way. Do you have any aspiration to wrestle in Japan?

JH: Not at this very moment, but it is a possibility in the future. There are other goals I set for myself for this year and I want to focus on these first.

Jessicka HavokAC: What do you ultimately hope to accomplish in this business?

JH: I hope to make a name for myself as one of the best female wrestlers in the world. I love this business and what I do in the ring more than anything. I do it because i love it. I can't imagine a day without it.

AC: To all those aspiring wrestlers out there, what advice do you have for them?

JH: Stay Strong, make sure this is what you want to do and stay true to yourself. Anything you do in life, do for you, not for anyone else.

Arron Carlton: Outside of wrestling, I see you are quite the zombie and horror fan. Tell us a little about that.

Jessicka Havok: Get ready for my nerd rant!... I've been a huge fan of survival/horror since I was literally in 4th grade. Resident Evil is a passion of mine. That's right, a passion. I've been playing them ever since Resident Evil 1 came out. I'm in Love with their series, and some of the fictional characters!I'm also a huge fan of the zombie Genre as a whole, But Resident Evil is my shit.

Arron Carlton: What are some of your favorite movies of those genres?

Jessicka Havok: I love the Silent Hill movie. I take the Resident Evil movies for what they are. I love Milla Jovovich anyway, so that helps. I also love both 28 Days Later, and 28 Weeks Later.

Zombie - Jessicka Havok, Walking Dead fanArron Carlton: Have you been able to catch The Walking Dead?... What are your thoughts on the show?

Jessicka Havok: I Love That Show!! In my opinion, it captures the realism of what would actually happen if there were a zombie apocalypse... which I am prepared for! Been training since I was 5!

Arron Carlton: You must has quite the following based on your love of the Zombie/Horror genres. So where can fans reach you?
