TNA Mobile announced on September 12, 2007 that a Women's title would be added to TNA. The champion was decided in a 10-Woman Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory on October 14, 2007. The participants were Angel Williams, Awesome Kong, Christy Hemme, Gail Kim, Jacqueline Moore, O.D.B., Roxxi Laveaux, Shelly Martinez, Talia Madison and Traci Brooks.
