I mean you know Maryse isn't going to be able to hep execute melina's flash moves I mena do you really think Maryse has the strenght to take the cod red or something like that?

Melina vs Maryse matches would be really boring simillar to Melina vs Layla only worse imo

If they were smart...Which they apparently aren't, they would go ahead with a Gail heel turn and get her over by beating up on Kelly. Gail was kickass as a heel, as long as she brings back all those submissions and makes the bitches tap! Then have her move on to Melina, and have Gail take the title.

Outside of Alicia Fox and NIKKI Bella there isn't a diva on Raw that is genuinely charismatic. I miss Maryse too.

The Divas Battle Royal was shit but you know what? Who cares? Alicia Fox won and the way she eliminated Kelly was full of win, she grabbed her and just through her ass over them ropes. LMAO! Her victory dance was so cuuuuuuuuuuuute!

Eve my sweet Eve, she was awkward as hell against Kelly. I loved the part when she was eliminating folks though, speaking of! The Bellas looked hot, gold is definitely there color and they are better then most, those twins aren't bad at all.

Kelly Kelly getting rid of Gail Kim was interesting, we just know Gail Kim is going to beat that ass soon. YAY!!!!

Maryse can stay away, why? Alicia is getting built up as top heel and we dont need Ryse mucking things up now do we?

Jillian has been looking so good these past few weeks, just wow. Her segment was funny too as always.

Did anyone realize that since returning, Gail Kim hasn't had ONE interview, backstage segment where she speaks, or anything?! The only time we have seen her backstage was doing that random dance thingy when that Legs duo was guest host.

This is pathetic. She has shown in the past that she can work well on the mic (Watch her heel stuff in WWE...Even though its limited).

Yeah that crossed my mind too a while ago. Gail has never been on the mic or spoken yet since her return. I tended to not believe those “punishment” rumors about Gail and Mickie, but seeing how they’ve treated her character since their match and Gail getting eliminated first tonight has changed my mind.

I didn’t think tonight’s match was that bad, it was an interesting dynamic to see a battle royale with mostly faces. Bryan’s right, the right girl won, but it would’ve been interesting to see Melina go one on one with any of the other girls.

I’m curious to see if Melina vs. Alicia is going to play out like Mickie vs. Alicia; is this going to lead to a PPV match at Survivor Series, or will the SD girls get that spot? Next week, I predict a Diva tag match with Alicia getting the pin.

The real highlight for me tonight was Ozzy and Sharon though, they did a much better job than I expected and that talent show segment was hilarious to watch.

All I can say about the battle royal is I'm not exactly surprised Gail was eliminated first and once again took the role of Kelly Kelly's bitch. Gail is better then all five of the those other divas combined as well.

What a sad state of affairs. I've never seen a weaker women's division then the raw one right now. Gail is the only bright spot although she is never used and/or jobs way too much.

Well Raw was pretty rubbish. You wouldnt think Raw and SD's womens action were from the same show.They obviously have no idea what to do with the divas at the moment. The Bellas are hardly part of the division just guest host arm candy and looks like Jillians gone back to guest host comedy.

Therefore you've got inexperienced Eve Alicia and Kelly,Melina who gets sloppier every match and Gail whos pretty non existent. Only upside is Im quite intrigued by Eve/Miz/Swagger.Good character development for Eve and I like both guys

I realized something after this Raw.

If WWE would "book" the divas we'd be fine. I might get bitched at for what I'm about to say, but I don't give a shit. Lets think, way back when. I was watching an old youtube video of Chyna vs. Lita for the Women's Championship. It was an all right match, and it was given decent time. Now lets be honest, it wasn't thes best wrestling, btu it was still entertaining. Why? Because it had meaning to it.

Bella Twins for example. Push them, they'll succeed. Why? Because they fucking will. Book the Divas, they don't have to be the greatest at wrestling. Just give them mic time, develop feud, and there you go. Look back to all the Divas matches the fans have gotten behind from 2006 and lower. People were booked, developed, and given time. No matter what.

You have your key players to make things good in Gail, Jillian, Melina, and Alicia. Give the Bella's a chance, and those other 4 mentioned a chance. The reason people get so pissed when certain people when titles (Candice for exapmle) is because they are to busy focuising on their in-ring skills sometimes. When was the last time someone cared about the Divas? Not for awhile for the sole fact WWE doesn't care. I would take a meaningful feud with the Bella's, or Eve, or just handing out the title any day.

I wish I could explain how I feel, but its complicated. I hope some get what I'm getting at.

I agree AND disagree with the above post. Here's the thing, though. For years now, the people continue to decrease their interest in the divas on many different levels. The wrestling, no mic time, no TV time. So nowadays, it'd be even harder to completely be behind them when there hasn't been a back story or words for them to say.

Clearly people remember Trish vs. Stephanie in 2001? The match was fun, entertainment-wise, because WWE gave that feud plenty of times to develop and it didn't have to progress by having match after match after match every single week.

The last time I've seen WWE build up a feud so well was for WM22 with Trish and Mickie. The last time I've seen WWE build up a diva so well was Beth Phoenix in 2007 with the video trailer before facing Candice Michelle at Unforgiven. And TBH, that feud would've gone up the ladder have they rebuilt the time where Candice had that broken clavicle, coming back and gone apeshit on Beth Phoenix, giving both these women some mic time or backstage segments and there you go. Instead, they decided to go for the tag match at WM24.

What people kept looking at right now is the wrestling, though I like to watch wrestling. And people seem to wonder why many others consider a divas match to be a pissbreak. Because the WWE isn't giving us a reason to care about them, wrestling-wise OR entertainment-wise.

^I know exactly what you mean, comparison time:

1) Unlike the TNA Knockouts the WWE Divas are given very little if any mic time at all, the fans don't get behind the divas like they do the knockouts which is unfortunate but a reality.

2) The divas tend to have number 1 contendership matches every fucking week and the title race is handed around like sweets on Halloween

There are loads more points I will elaborate on later only I'm really tired lol

Its so simple to fix, yet its so difficult for WWE to do so.

You take Maryse and Eve into a fued for a few months, with loads of backstage segments to get them both over.
Turn Gail heel, and have her beat up on Kelly, brag about it. Do you know how much heat she would get just from beating up on and bragging about Kelly to the fans?

I think that alot of you all are bias of the Bella's because of the way they are booked. I hate their gimmick and booking just as much as the next person but I think you all should go back and watch their matches because they are pretty naturally athletic and I think that they are pretty good for rookies.

I will admit that they are good, but I don't like how they have been used to defeat Victoria, Katie and Natayla on so many occasions. In reality, Natayla and Victoria could kill them both in a handicap match.
