On behalf of myself, the Wrestlers’ Rescue organization, and the many volunteers and donors, I’d like to strenuously deny and condemn the false and baseless defamatory statements currently circulating concerning an alleged investigation and corruption in Wrestlers’ Rescue. Not only are the accusations false they contain no merit and they are disrespectful to the volunteers who have invested their time, energies, and hearts into helping former professional wrestlers in need.

These statements (most of which appear to have begun following comments made by Mike Aldren) are defamatory and contain no basis or fact. These unfounded false allegations have put at risk our efforts to help the former stars who currently face major personal, medical, and financial crises. The damage these falsehoods may have done to real people (not wrestling “characters”) is immeasurable.

I am currently weighing options for an appropriate and comprehensive response. When I have decided on my best course of action, as well as exploring legal options on behalf of both myself and Wrestlers’ Rescue, I will address all allegations.

A full and complete refutation of all false claims will accompany our forthcoming formal response, in the courts and/or other venues. More importantly, though I wish to express the anger I feel that for the sake of a few web hits and some false ego-gratification, all those who spread his falsehoods as “truth” may have put at risk Wrestlers’ Rescue’s attempts to aid good and well-loved people facing enormously difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, internet rumor mongers feel that they can tarnish people and an organization’s reputation without any evidence and still have impunity. It is truly shameful that I must even dignify these individuals who have nothing more than time and a computer, to address these harmful and baseless allegations.

I give thanks to all my friends and colleagues who have called and written to express their anger at this attack and their support of me. It is for people like you and not the Mike Aldren’s of the world that Wrestlers’ Rescue exists and will expand.

Wrestlicious TakeDown Episode 10 is now online. The episode featured Cousin Cassie vs. Juvi Hall, and the the debut of former TNA Knockout Sojo Bolt as Coco Montego. Coco Montego teamed up with Marley (Daizee Haze), to take on Naughty Girl Faith and White Magic.

—Former TNA Knockout ODB (Jessica Kresa) has a new article up for Scripps Howard News Service with Alex Marvez. Among the topics she talked to Alex about was her displeasure with the Eric Bischoff/Hulk Hogan era in TNA, stating “I noticed the change in the Knockouts division with Kong being gone and a lot of girls leaving. I was the next one.” It can be safely said that Alex summed up the way the majority of us feel…

Kresa and the monstrous Kong (real name Kia Stevens) were two of the diverse female characters who struck a chord with TNA fans. But once the Bischoff/Hogan era began, it quickly became obvious that beauty was going to get pushed over brawn. Kresa, Stevens and Nicole “Roxxi” Raczynski are three of the original Knockouts released by TNA this year (Click Here For The Feature) .

—There is a new article on former WWE Diva Molly Holly by Mark Nicklawske, revealing the she and her fiancé, Geno Benshoof will be getting married. One of the subject she opened up about was being a virgin. Click Here For The Article.

—Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie Damatta has been accused of embezzling money raised by her “Wrestlers Rescue” charity. Mike Aldren of the Wrestling Globe Newsletter and The UK Sun has made this accusation with this statement…

“Nobody seems to know where all the money has gone nor has anyone seemingly benefited from the money that Dawn has raised over the past three years. Her former friends have told me she uses the money to fly herself to conventions around the country so she can profit from autograph signings. She has agreements with several promoters where if she flies herself in she will get a free table to sell her merchandise. When I started asking reasonable questions, Dawn set her attorney on me, who admits Wrestlers Rescue is not a registered charity.”

—AJ Lee (April Jeanette), who can be seen in WWE developmental territory; Florida Championship Wrestling, will be making her WWE debut soon to the Smackdown brand. The Wrestling Observer reported that at the July 6th taping of Smackdown, a vignette hyping AJ Lee’s debut was the shown. The vignette did not make to cut to television. Reports are suggesting that her debut may has been delayed.

—In a follow-up to her TNA tryout match, Mia Yim posted the following…

No open spots for me at TNA. Its ok, keep an eye out for me because I am just getting started…who knows what will happen in the future.

Despite this, Numerous fans are not yet counting out the possibility that she could be the Mystery biker Knockout we have seen on Impact in recent weeks, although reports are pointing towards the woman being Tara (Lisa Marie Varon).

On the July 19, 2010 edition of Raw, former Divas Champion Eve faced Maryse in a match to decide the #1 contender for the Divas Championship.

Eve vs. Maryse

—Eve Torres made her way to the ring first for this match. Maryse then made her way to the ring, accompanied by Ted DiBiase. Ted DiBiase got on commentary as the ladies began the match.

After getting slapped in the face from Eve, Maryse kicked Eve in the midsection, and followed with a slap of her own. She controlled the match until whipping Eve into a corner—as Maryse ran towards Eve, she was the recipient of an elbow to the face, followed by a kick to the head. Eve then covered Maryse for the win, despite Eve’s foot being on the bottom ropes.

Winner(s): Eve at 1:15

After the match, an enraged Ted DiBiase argued with the referee about Maryse’s foot on the rope. He was then suffered an attack from John Morrison.
