WSU (Women Superstars Uncensored) “Uncensored” episode 4 is now on InaSecTV.com. The third episode features 2-Time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz (July 2010 Lethalwow Indy Spotlight).

Former 2-Time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz won the 2010 WSU Uncensored Rumble on Saturday June 26. Jazz has earned the right to face WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez.

Christie Ricci: (Visit: Christiericci.net. ) Thanks for having me.

Arron Carlton: Most Women’s Wrestling fans know you as Christie Ricci; however, most recently, you have been portraying “Glory” in Wrestlicous. How did you get booked for the role?

Christie Ricci: I was considered for the role of Glory from the beginning. Jimmy Hart is a big supporter of mine and when Johnny Caferella asked for his suggestions on booking, Jimmy suggested me. It all began there! Jimmy has always been a great supporter of my wrestling career, and I really appreciate all of that support.

Arron Carlton: Episode 9 of Wrestlicious TakeDown just aired… Congratulations on becoming the first ever Wrestlicious Champion. How does it feel?

Christie Ricci: It feels great! It’s an honor to be able to represent so many talented females in the only Televised all female wrestling company in the U.S. Finally there is a promotion that takes us back to the LPWA and GLOW days.

June 2010 – Indy Wrestling Spotlight:
Christie Ricci (Glory)

The May 2010 Indy spotlight is Madison Eagles (Lethalwow.com Profile)—The current Shimmer Champion. Madison joined Lethalwow earlier this month for an interview (Check it out). Last month, we featured Alicia, one of the many wrestlers who have been photographed by Wrestlin Wally (http://www.wrestlinwally.com). This time, it is Madison Eagles, who is set to return for the tapings of Shimmer volumes 33 to 36 on September 11 and 12, 2010.

Many were shocked on April 11, 2010, at the taping for Shimmer Women Athletes Volume 31, when Madison Eagles ended MsChif’s 715 day reign as Champion. Madison now goes down in Women’s Wrestling history as the third woman to hold the Shimmer Championship. May 2010 – Indy Wrestling Spotlight:

The April 2010 Indy spotlight is Alicia—The first-ever WSU Champion. One of the many women who have been photographed by the incredible photographer; Wrestlin Wally (http://www.wrestlinwally.com). On June 26th, Alicia will have her chance to regain the WSU World Championship, as she challenges Mercedes Martinez for the title.

The Internet wrestling community has put many women on pedestals as the top independent wrestlers over the years. With the rise of companies such was Shimmer Women Athletes, in which many of the cult followings have been perpetuated from their roster over the years—Often many women who have not appeared or a mainstay on Shimmer DVD productions, have been overlooked. On the other side of the fence is Women Superstars Uncensored, which in many ways is an alternative to Shimmer. Which is not bad thing by any means, as both companies are great in their respective ways. For instance, while women like Amber O’neal may be used as a jobber on Shimmer, she gets a chance to showcase her talents in WSU. In Shimmer, Rain is a tag team wrestler; however in WSU she battles 20 minute main event matches. In Shimmer you can get your fix of greats like Cheerleader Melissa, MsChif, Daizee Haze, Amazing Kong, The Canadian Ninjas and many others, but in WSU you get Angel Orsini, former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz and many special appearances from the likes of SoCal Val, Angelina Love and many women of wrestling cult icons such as Dawn Marie and Molly Holly. When comparing titles though, the WSU title should have more prestige, as it is defended on a full-time basis, while the Shimmer title is defended just a handful of times a year. WSU Champion Mercedes has defended the title double the times Shimmer Champion MsChif has, in half the time of holding the belt. With that said, one women that should be put on a pedestal, is the first-ever! WSU Champion Alicia!. Alicia is often one of those overlooked athletes, despite making history over and over.

Now streamlined to 133 profiles, with more set to be added throughout 2010. With over a million readers worldwide in 2009, a list of the Top 100 most viewed profiles has been compiled. Melina Perez topped the list, as Lethalwow’s most viewed profile, a 3rd year in a row (2007, 2008 and 2009).
