The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) - Biography

In the summer of 2007, aspiring models Brianna Garcia and Nicole Garcia were signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) developmental contracts and began training in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). The wrestled as a tag-team regularly for the last quarter of 2007. On September 15, 2007, The Bella Twins picked up a big win in FCW defeating Krissy Vaine & Nattie Neidhart. In FCW they wrestled against the likes of Victoria Crawford, Lacey Von Erich, Katie Lea Burchill, Tiffany (Taryn Terrell), Milena Roucka, and Maryse as well. On June 3, 2008 Angela Fong & The Bella Twins co-won a FCW Diva Bikini Contest. Other participants included Daisy, Roucka, Victoria Crawford & Taryn Terrell.

On the August 29 edition of SmackDown!, "Brie Bella" made her WWE debut defeating Victoria. It was actually Nicole who made the pin on Victoria after a weakened Brie crawled under the ring and switched places with her sister. The following week on the September 5, 2008 edition of SmackDown, "Brie Bella" defeated Victoria yet again after crawling under the ring again and switching places with her sister Nicole. The same scenario followed in the next couple of weeks in Brie's matches. On October 26, 2008 at Cyber Sunday, Brie Bella participated in a WWE Divas Halloween Costume Contest as Cleopatra and on November 3, 2008 on RAW she was one of the competitors in a 16-DIVA Tag Team Match.

On November 7, 2008 on SmackDown the twins were revealed after Brie Bella defeated Victoria, who was accompanied by Natalya. After Brie crawled under the ring, Victoria and Natalya pulled out both girls. Nicole Bella was then known as "Nikki Bella."
