In less than three years
Rena Mero went from
valet to mega superstar. After working as a model,
"Sable"
entered the WWE as Triple H's WrestleMania valet, that was short
lived for on that same night, she became Marc Mero's valet,
her real life husband. After being a valet for over a year,
and gaining the admiration of wwe fans, Sable was asked if she
would be interested in becoming a wrestler, and that she did
pursue.
Marc Mero and herself developed a feud
against
Luna and Goldust. Luna and Sable's
feud created some memorable moments, including an Intergender
tag match at WrestleMania 98 in which Sable showed that she
was not just a pretty face and facing Luna in an Evening Gown
Match at Unforgiven 98.

After an angle in which Sable and Marc split , Jacqueline debuted
in WWE and they began a feud that began over Marc Mero, which
elevated to the Women's Championship. After Alundra Blayze's
departure from WWE, The title was declared vacant a few years
earlier. Jacqueline and
Sable, competed for
it in which
Jacqueline become the Women's Champion.
While Jacqueline had the women's title, Sable went on to guest
star on the USA Network's series "Pacific Blue." Weeks Later
Sable won the women's title at Survivor Series 1998.
In Early 1999, a second feud with Luna was short lived, but
produced a strap match at the 1999 Royal Rumble. Sable then
took a drastic heel turn just in time for it to be revealed
that she would be posing for Playboy.
Sable went on to defeat Tori at WrestleMania
1999 for the women's title all while her
Playboy
issue became the biggest selling issue in history. Sable went
on to be feautured on many talk shows and was greatly covered
by the media, but as she was getting all the media attention,
a bitter dispute with her and the wwe resulted in Sable leaving
the company.

In 2003, Sable shocked the wrestling world by returning to WWE
as a Smackdown Superstar. On April 3rd, 2003's edition of Smackdown,
Torrie Wilson's Playboy "Coming Out" party was interrupted by
the shocking return of Sable. Sable would then play psychological
games with Torrie Wilson in the next couple of weeks. On April
24, 2003, Sable would cause Nidia and
Dawn Marie
to attack Torrie Wilson, and at Backlash 2003, she would instigate
a fight between Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler.
Sable's
ego would then be crushed when she was defeated in a bikini
contest at Judgment Day, when Tazz declared her the winner.
Sable did get a huge reaction, and many felt
as if Sable had won the contest, despite being the heel in the
story.
Sable then went on the feud with Stephanie
McMahon starting On June 5th, 2003's edition of Smackdown as
Sable was appointed by Vince McMahon to be the assistance to
General Manager
Stephanie McMahon. This was
only one of
Vince McMahon's schemes to get
Stephanie to leave her position as general manager. Sable would
not hide it that she would want to become GM. The ladies feud
lead
Sable to defeat Stephanie in a match on
July 27th, 2003 at Vengeance, after Stephanie is destroyed by
A-Train. The ladies continue their rivalry as Sable played a
vital role in Vince McMahon's feud against his daughter.
Sable
even exchanged words with Vince McMahon's wife
Linda
McMahon and even kicking Linda in the stomach. On October
19th, 2003, at No Mercy, Vince McMahon beat Stephanie McMahon
in an "I Quit." Because of stipulations, Stephanie was no longer
GM, Sable however, was not appointed the new GM.
On February 5, 2004's edition of Smackdown, announcer Rue DeBonna,
announced that
Sable & Torrie Wilson would
appear in
Playboy together. The two would then
be seen together on
WWE television, promoting
the issue. The new found partnership would lead them to a March
14th, 2004, Wrestlemania XX, "Playboy Evening Gown" match, where
they defeated Jackie Gayda & Stacy Keibler.
On June 24, 2004's edition of Smackdown,
Sable
turned against Torrie, and both ladies had a catfight which
lead to
Sable defeating Torrie Wilson in a
wrestling match on June 27th, 2004 at the Great American Bash.
Torrie then defeated Sable with DDT in the rematch on the July
1st, 2004's edition of Smackdown.
Sable then went on, in a very controversial
interview, to criticize the WWE, and their sexism with female
talent. On August 10, 2004, WWE.com announced that
Sable
has been released from the company
