Karen Angle - Biography
 Karen
Smedley was married to wrestler; Kurt
Angle on December 19, 1998. The couple had
two children Kyra, born on December 2, 2002
and son Kody, who was born on October 26,
2006. For the most part, Karen Angle
was a wrestling wife until August 2007 where
she made her debut as a personality in Total
Nonstop Action Wrestling. On August 2, 2007
on TNA iMPACT, Karen Angle and daughter
Kyra were first seen accompanying Kurt Angle
backstage. TNA fans were led to believe
that Kurt Angle was abusive to his wife
and they were in the verge of a divorce.
Samoa Joe became sympathetic to Karen Angle
and payed dearly on August 12, 2007 at TNA
Hard Justice when Kurt Angle defeated him
in a "Winner Take All" after being screwed
by Karen Angle. Kurt Angle captured Samoa
Joe's World Tag Team and X-Division championships
as well as retaining his World Heavyweight
title.
 Karen made an immediate impact, which continued
into a Kurt Angle vs. Abyss feud. Unfortunately
Kurt ended up losing the TNA X-Division
title and the TNA Tag Team title at TNA
No Surrender. The same night, her retained
the World Heavyweight title against Abyss
and that night a Kurt Angle vs. Sting storyline
went into full play when Karen Angle accused
Sting of slapping her. The feud led to Kurt
losing the TNA World Heavyweight title.
He regained the championship in less than
a month.
On November 22, 2007 on TNA iMPACT, Karen
Angle and Kurt Angle hosted a lame Thanksgiving
Dinner for the TNA Wrestlers in which daughter
Kyra was involved in the segments. During
these week Karen used her conning ways to
recruit A.J. Styles and Tomko into Kurt's
stable, and began a rivalry against Booker
T's wife Sharmell Sullivan.
