2003: WWE Women's Championship
2007: TNA Women's World Championship
Gail Kim began her wrestling career by being trained at Ron
Hutchison's "School of Pro Wrestling" in Toronto and from Rob
Etchevarria at the "Squared Circle Pro Wrestling Gym." In December
2000 she made her debut wrestling under the alias; La Felina.
She wrestled top wrestlers; Tracy Brooks, April Hunter and other
women on the Indy scene.
In 2002, Gail Kim was signed to a WWE developmental contract
and went on to compete at WWE house shows. She competed in matches
against the likes of Torrie
Wilson and Dawn
Marie.
On June 30th 2003, on
Raw, Gail Kim made her television debut in a 7 women battle
Royal; which also included Trish Stratus, Jazz, Victoria, Ivory,
Molly Holly and Jacqueline. The Women's champions at the time;
Jazz, was
eliminated early in the match up. When all was said and done,
Gail Kim was left alone in the ring with Victoria,
where she then eliminate her with a headscissors over the top
rope to become the WWE women's champion. An extraordinary debut
for Gail Kim by winning the Women's Title, however fans did
not immediately take to her. Click

Gail
Kim's title reign lasted only a month, as Molly
Holly defeated her on an August 4th broadcast of Raw. After
a few encounters with Molly Holly, they then teamed up to form
a tag team, and both ladies dominated for the remaining of 2003:

Gail Kim and Molly Holly
also competed in numerous tag team competitions at WWE live
events. The tease of a potential re-instating of the WWE Women's
Tag Team Titles was cut short.
In November 2003, during
a taping of a Sunday Night Heat match against Trish
Stratus, Gail Kim injured her collarbone, leaving her out
of action for the rest of the year.
Gail Kim finally made
a return to the Women's Division in 2004 with a new submission
style. During this time she picked up many wins, and was even
crowned number 1 contender due to these wins. These wins included
May 3rd, 2004's, RAW edition as she defeated the Woman's champion;
Victoria, and on May 10th, 2004's RAW six woman tag match, in
which she yet again made Victoria tap out. She seemed to be
on the road to becoming Women's Champ yet again however on June
13th, 2004, at the Bad Blood Pay Per View, Trish Stratus picked
up the win in a fatal 4 way, killing Gail Kim's momentum.
Gail Kim continued to wrestle in WWE Women's Division matches
however on November 3rd, 2004, Gail Kim was released from her
World Wrestling Entertainment contract, a very controversial
release, seeing as the WWE released many female wrestlers at
the same time. She would then continue wrestling by working
in the Independent scene, including wrestling many match-ups
against another released wrestler; Nidia.
On October 8th, 2005, Gail Kim made her Total Nonstop Action
Wrestling(TNA) debut as the valet for Jeff Jarrett and America's
Most Wanted. There she started a rivalry with Jackie Gayda in
which continued into 2006, but was cut short due to Jackie Gayda's
pregnancy. The storyline ended as Jackie Gayda was "fired" by
Kim at TNA Sacrifice 2006 on May 14th 2006.
A WWE rivalry was ignited in 2007 as former WWE Women's Champ
and Cruiserweight Champion; Jacqueline
made a TNA Wrestling return at TNA Final Resolution in January
2007. Jacqueline attacked Gail Kim, and allied herself with
James Storm against Gail Kim and Chris Harris. The ladies then
feuded for weeks. One big highlight was on April 15, 2007 in
St. Louis, Missouri on NWA-TNA's Lockdown Pay Per View as Gail
Kim defeated Jackie Moore in a Cage Match.
Following the huge match, on May 3rd 2007 on TNA iMPACT Gail
defeated Jackie Moore in a Street Fight. Tracy
Brooks was then added to the mix. The feud was
short and the highlights were June 7, 2007 on TNA iMPACT where
Gail Kim defeated Tracy Brooks and July 5, 2007 on TNA iMPACT
as Gail Kim defeated Jackie Moore and Tracy Brooks in a 3-WAY
match.
Her feud with Jackie Moore and Tracy Brooks all built up to
TNA finally making a Women's Division official. The crowing
for the first Women's Champion was set got TNA's Bound for Glory
pay-per-view in a 10-Woman Gauntlet match. The build up included
September 27, 2007 on TNA iMPACT as Roxxi
Laveau beat Tracy Brooks, Gail Kim, Jackie Moore
and Christy Hemme in a 5-WAY and October 4, 2007 on TNA iMPACT
when Gail Kim defeated Jackie Moore. Just days before Bound
for Glory Awesome
Kong made her debut, defeating Gail Kim on the
October 11, 2007 edition of TNA iMPACT. Despite the loss, Gail
Kim became the first TNA Wrestling Women's Champion on October
14, 2007 at TNA Bound For Glory after pinning Laveaux.
