Desiree Petersen - Biography:
Desiree Peterson began her wrestling training in 1982 at the Fabulous Moolah's wrestling school after it was the suggested route by Stu Hart. She later had her first match in January of 1983 against Velvet McIntrye. She first wrestled under the name Melissa Doll however she went on to wrestle for All Japan Women's Wrestling as Desiree Petersen.
If wasn't long before she made her way to the WWF. SHe teamed up with Susan Starr, Fabulous Moolah and even defeated Judy Martin in singles competition. She later became half of the WWF Women's tag-team with Velvet McIntrye after replacing Princess Victoria. The ladies had multiple victories over Penny Mitchell & Peggy Peterson. She also had singles victories against Peggy Lee, Judy Martin, Leilani Kai and Penny Mitchell.
After the World Wrestling Wrestling, she wrestled for Ladies Professional Wrestling Association and was part of the LPWA Super Ladies Showdown pay per view.
Desiree continued wrestling in matches dating up to 2007. She has wrestle independent female competitors of today such as Brandi Wine, Lacey, Persephone and Lorelei Lee.
