Becky Bayless
began her wrestling career primarily known as a
valet, and transitioned into a wrestler. In late
2001, she began training at The Doghouse in Brooklyn,
NY under Homicide (Nelson Erazo), along with Low
Ki, Azrieal, Deranged, and Low Life Louie (Louie
Ramos). Becky began working independent wrestling
shows, and soon she became a recognizable talent
in Ring of Honor.
Becky became widely known as an interviewer for
ROH and SHIMMER, and a competitor in Women Superstars
Uncensored (WSU). Highlights in WSU wrestling included
feuds with
Alicia,
Dawn Marie and more.
On the June 5, 2008 episode of TNA Impact, Becky Bayless appeared as a candidate for Awesome Kong's $25,000 Fan Challenge. Over a year later, another big break came, when she received a WWE try-out on November 17. Days after, on November 20, 2009, Becky made an appearance on WWE.com in a "SmackDown After the Bell" segment with Slam Master J (Ray Gordy).
