With such killer looks, don't dismiss
her as just eye candy. Angel Williams isn't just eye
candy when she steps into the squared circle, she is a credible
athlete. Angel began her wrestling career in 2000 as valet in
Canada, and quickly pushed to become a professional wrestler.
By 2003, she was mixing it up in the United States with Independent
workers which included O.D.B., Hailey Hatred and Tracy Brooks.
A major accomplishment came on June 16, 2004 on TNA wrestling
when Trinity defeated Angel, which gave her national exposure.
Though a huge accomplishment, she did not become a permanent
worker in the company.
In December of 2004, Angel Williams signed a developmental contract
with the WWE and began wrestling in one of their developmental
territories; Deep South Wrestling. There she picked up victories
against Michelle McCool, Shantelle
Taylor, Nattie Neidhart and many others. Among
those she managed were Krissy Vaine, The Gymini, and Johnny
Parisi. On a May 16th 2007 OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) Tapings,
she defeated Serena Deeb however shortly after on May 18th 2007,
she was released from her World Wrestling Entertainment contract.
In June 2007, Angel Williams took on the name "Canadian Angel,"
in AAA (Mexico) and continued working in the independent wrestling
circuit.
As TNA Wrestling was on the verge of implementing a Women's
Division, Angel was contacted to work matches. She was announced
as one of ten wrestler to compete in a 10 woman gauntlet match
to crown the first ever TNA Women's Champion at the Bound for
Glory pay per view (October 14th 2007). On October 11th's edition
of Impact, Angel was at ringside for the debut match of Awesome
Kong, who defeated Gail Kim. Angel then went on
at Bound for Glory to team up with Gail Kim and O.D.B to eliminate
Awesome Kong from the match. Angel was then eliminated by O.D.B
and Gail Kim.
Angel was featured on TNA Today on Youtube.com as a "new" knockout
despite any confirmation of her being signed to the company.
On October 25th's edition of Impact Angel put up a valiant effort
against Awesome Kong in a singles match, however she was defeated
after a sit-down powerbomb.
Angel later participated in a 4-way match for the TNA Women's
Championship at TNA Genesis before a name change to "Angelina
Love" on the Thanksgiving edition of Impact!. On December
2, 2007 at TNA's Turning Point pay-per-view, Angelina Love
and Velvet
Sky defeated ODB and Roxxi Laveaux in a Knockouts
Tag Team match, this was the official beginning of the alliance
between Angelina and Velvet, they were previously seen together
in backstage segments. Their tag-team wins continued on the
December 13, 2007 edition of TNA iMPACT when Angelina & Velvet
defeated Jackie
Moore & Tracy
Brooks. Before the match, both women cut a promo,
insinuating some sort of adult industry past and ever since
have been sexually suggestive with offering their "services"
to male counterpart. At the time, unofficially known as Velvet-Love
Entertainment. The ladies participated in a Santa's Workshop
Knockouts Street Fight on the December 20, 2007 edition of iMPACT
and on December 27, 2007 edition; teaming up with Gail
Kim to defeat Roxxi Leveaux, Jackie
Moore and ODB.
In the first iMPACT of 2008, both Angelina and Velvet participated
in a Gauntlet match to determine the Women's Division ranking,
Angeline was ranked number 5, based on elimination. On January
17, 2008 Angelina was defeated by O.D.B
after a running powerslam. On January 31, 2008, on TNA iMPACT

ODB and Roxxi Leveaux in a 3-WAY TNA Knockouts
match. The next month she had the opportunity to challenge the
TNA Women's champion, on February 28, 2008 on TNA iMPACT, Awesome
Kong w/Raesha Saeed defeated Angelina
Love w/Velvet Sky in a Non-title match.
In March of 2008, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky's heel turn was
in full effect. They began feuding against Roxxi Laveaux, which
took center stage on April 13, 2008 at TNA Lockdown when Roxxi
