Roundtable – WWE Elimination Chamber 2013 Predictions: Kaitlyn–Celeste Bonin (c) vs. Tamina Snuka
Posted on Saturday, February 16th, 2013

On February 17, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana—at the New Orleans Arena, World Wrestling Entertainment presents Elimination Chamber 2013. In WWE Divas action at the Pay-Per-View, will be WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin), defending the belt against Tamina Snuka. Will the the hybrid Diva of the WWE be able to successfully defend the Championship against the Warrior Princess?…

Here are predictions from Lethalwow.com Writers…

Bobby Calloway (Bobby Between The Ropes – Column): …I don’t think there’s any doubt about Kaitlyn retaining. This is her first title defense, unless that Vegas Showgirl spectacle was for the title as well. She’s a fledgling champion and she needs a strong title defense to solidify her reign. They can probably get another title match out of Tamina if they want to build Kaitlyn up—so I’m expecting a surprise ending to facilitate a second match. I think we’re all praying for AJ versus Kaitlyn somewhere else down the line… possibly at the biggest stage of them all? I am optimistic, but I’m a glass is half full kind of guy. Perhaps we could even get a backstage segment to hint at that… maybe with AJ sarcastically wishing Kaitlyn good luck.

Eric Holt: I see Kaitlyn coming out on top. She just won the title a month ago, and I feel that she needs to hold that title longer in order for fans to get behind her and take her seriously as champion. Plus this feud between her and Tamina hasn’t had much build-up, which is quite disappointing, because there was so much potential there.

Kevin Werleman: …with lack of build up; lack of storyline; momentum on Tamina’s side (due to her Smackdown win); and this being Tamina’s second run at being a filler opponent, it is safe to say Kaitlyn will be walking out as champion. I am just hoping for a decent bout between the two, and with what Tamina decides to wear.

Arron Carlton: After Tamina’s win against Layla on WWE Smackdown, the momentum is definitely on her side. Based on booking we’ve seen in the past from the WWE, this likely means Kaitlyn is walking away with the win. With the horrible build-up to the match, the best thing to do would be to have Kaitlyn retain. And I will also back the sentiment that Kaitlyn needs this win to solidify her being Champion. But is it her first title defense Bobby?… I say no. I would think that defending the belt at numerous WWE House Shows in front of thousands of fans count for something. These two have battled each other at countless live events in the past few weeks, so hopefully it shows, despite the ladies most likely being met with lackluster response from fans at the pay-per-view.

As for AJ Lee versus Kaitlyn?… We’re still hoping for that? I suppose it is possible. One month of build with all the past history could possibly salvage a WWE Divas Championship match for Wrestlemania.

Guest Writer…

Artie James: I forgot Kaitlyn was champion, or that Tamina was feuding with her. Kaitlyn will retain the divas title, but it would be good for a swerve if Vickie helped Tamina win the title.
