On the January 09, 2013 episode of WWE NXT, Emma faced the Anti-Diva Paige

WWE Divas – January 09, 2013 NXT Match:
Emma vs. Paige

— After some…interesting dance moves from Emma and Paige makes her entrance, the match is underway. Paige grabs a hold of Emma’s hair and tosses her around, not once but twice! Emma’s leaning on the bottom rope, and Paige begins stomping a mudhole into her. Paige goes to send Emma into the ropes, but Emma counters and kicks her knee. After bouncing off the ropes, Emma nails a dropkick on Paige for a one count. Emma begins working on Paige’s leg with a few kicks, followed by a leg ddt for a one count. Emma continues to work on Paige’s leg and taunts her in the process. Emma sends Paige to the corner and gets her knee locked in around the ring rope. Emma has Paige by the injured leg and knee. Paige tries to swing at Emma, bit Emma teases her, and Paige is taken down with a leg whip. Emma’s got Paige in a leg lock as Paige continues to show signs of pain. Paige is able to get out of the hold. After a sharp kick to the gut and the PaigeTurner, Paige gets the three count and the win!

Thoughts: Not a bad match for the NXT Divas this week. With the time given, both Paige and Emma put on a great match. Emma’s match with Paige was better than the one she had with Audrey Marie in my opinion. Emma was able to show off more of her in-ring ability in this match than she was able to in her first match on NXT. I don’t know what WWE’s thinking with Emma’s dance moves, but if it helps to get her over and gives her more character and personality, then I’m for it. I just don’t want it to end up turning her into a joke. Paige continues to reign supreme over the NXT divas division. I like how Paige has been on this winning streak that she’s been on because I have a feeling that sometime soon, someone’s going to put an end to her recent winning streak. All in all, a great divas match on NXT.
