On the October 26, 2012 episode of WWE Smackdown (October 26, 2012 Smackdown Results), General Manager of Smackdown Booker T, booked a Thriple Threat match, for the WWE Divas Championship. At WWE Hell in a Cell 2012, Eve Torres will defend the Championship against both Kaitlyn and former Divas Champion Layla.

Here are predictions from Lethalwow.com Writers…

Bobby Calloway (Bobby Between The Ropes – Column): Eve Torres wins… I expected us to get this match eventually, but honestly not so soon. I see this match going in the way of phasing Layla out of the title picture, and bringing Kaitlyn to the forefront—because WWE clearly wants to push her versus Eve. Kaitlyn has already had her title match and so, there needs a proper reason to continue to feud with Eve, plus she had the title match while her ankle wasn’t completely 100%—so she’s likely not done with Eve just yet. Layla has had her rematch, and the dirty ending set things up so that she needed to be included in this one. Eve of course is still in the beginning of her Divas’ title reign, and has been booked pretty well with two title defenses already. A clean win over Layla for Eve will do nicely, closing the door on their feud and shifting the focus to Eve vs Kaitlyn. Eve is a heel, but she still could use a clean enough title defense, which is very possible since it is a triple threat.

Eric Holt: I see Eve retaining the Divas Championship… thanks to some help from Aksana. We all know by now that Eve had Aksana attack Kaitlyn at Night of Champions, and I have a feeling that Eve’s gonna use Aksana’s help again, by having her help her retain the Divas Championship. From there, I see the Kaitlyn vs. Eve feud continuing.

Charlie: Eve walks out champion after Kaitlyn accidentally spears Layla… Eve tosses Kaitlyn from the ring… hits a moonsault or neckbreaker Layla, and walks out still Divas champion. This sets up Eve vs. Kaitlyn until the end of the year.

Kevin Werleman: Kaitlyn vs. Layla vs. Eve Torres was long overdue. We saw it coming a mile away—and for the first time in a long time—WWE is actually putting some effort into a Divas storyline. I just hope it is not short-term as usual. This is another tricky situation—because at one point—each of these three had a recent wins… either against each other or against other opponent… they all have a win under their belt, and no real advantage going into this match. But Eve just started her reign… So My pick is going to be Eve Torres. She gets the win and continues her dominance over the Divas Division.

Arron Carlton: Everyone is shipping a full-on Eve Torres versus Kaitlyn feud, but can Kaitlyn step up to the plate? If so, what would become of Layla?… delegated to jobbing? The Triple Threat match was set up nicely, with having Eve Torres have successful title victories over both Kaitlyn and Layla. Very good job on behalf of the WWE writers.

In any case, I will go with the majority… Eve Torres walks away Champion. Having Layla regain the belt, or Kaitlyn willing her first Divas Championship, would be surprising after such a straight forward booking… A strong Pay-Per-View title defense by Eve Torres is what is needed.

First of all, I would like to thank the WWE for investing time in their Divas. This has been a very interesting feud, which keeps getting better and better each
week. Fans have began investing in the Divas as well, and have actually gave the Divas good reaction and pops during matches or segments. WWE has kept us guessing with the attacker by naming them blonde, then a wig, followed by the iPad, which ended up being Aksana in a blonde wig. We saw a great full out brawl on the October 22 edition of Monday Night Raw, and a heated tag-team match on the October 26, edition of Smackdown. All three of these Divas are great in ring competitors, so expect this—with the right time given—to be a splendid match. At Hell in a Cell, obviously Layla will not get the title back here, so it’s down to either Eve or Kaitlyn. I know I might hit myself later, but I say Kaitlyn wins the Divas Title, and continues her feud with Eve and later
Aksana.
