Layla’s able to escape out of the hold, and comes back with a headlock takeover. She attempts a kick to Natalya’s abdomen. Natalya goes to counter, but Layla rolls her up for a near fall. Natalya nails Layla with a spinning clothesline and gets a near fall. Layla hits Natalya with a kick to a head and gets the pin and a win.
Winner(s):Layla
—In a backstage segment, we see Eve and Smackdown GM Booker T talking. Booker praises Eve for doing a great job as his assistant. In walks Teddy, and he tells Booker T that he came up with an idea of Sheamus facing Wade Barrett in a Lumberjack Match. Eve claims that she had that idea since last week and already told Booker about it. She then goes on to accuse Teddy of stealing her idea. Booker is disappointed in Teddy and leaves for a meeting. Eve follows after, giving Teddy a disgusting look and leaving her iPad on the table. This prompts Teddy to pick it up and look through it.
—In another backstage segment, Teddy walks up to Kaitlyn and shows her something on Eve’s iPad. Teddy goes on to say that Eve must be stopped and Kaitlyn needs to confront Eve. Kaitlyn agrees and takes photos of Eve’s iPad screen.
Thoughts:I wasn’t really into this week’s match honestly. It just wasn’t all that exciting to me, mainly because of the time it was given. It wasn’t a terrible match, but at the same time, it wasn’t exciting. I did enjoy the commentary from Eve. I’m loving how she’s playing the victim and is claiming that Layla’s pretty much in the wrong. I’m hoping that we’ll see some storyline progression next week. I loved the backstage segment as well. Eve’s continuing to make Teddy look bad, and I have a feeling that she could end up getting him fired due to her manipulative ways. Then again, Teddy could get Eve fired because of what he found on her iPad. I liked how he showed Kaitlyn because it obviously shows that it has something to do with her. I can’t wait to find out what Teddy and Kaitlyn found on Eve’s iPad. All in all, while we weren’t treated to an exciting match, we were treated to a couple of nice backstage segments and storyline progression.
We have had better Layla vs Natalya matches, but everything served its purpose. The win put Layla in the running for a title shot by looking strong. Also, we got build… Teddy and Kaitlyn’s find should be a big reveal.
Nice job Eric, I shortened the headline BTW. -- Arron

I’m actually gonna do it tomorrow because there wasn’t a video link to it posted until later on tonight.

I though this match was good with nice pops from the crowd. Not the best match but we had some good spots and it was decent.
