On September 9, 2012, from the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida, was TNA Wrestling No Surrender 2012 Live on Pay-Per-View. In TNA Knockouts action, was Tara challenging her Tag-Team partner Brooke Tessmacher (PICTURES & PROFILE) for the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship.

After two Bound for Glory Series Semi-Final matches, the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship match was third on the No Surrender 2012 card…

Knockouts – TNA No Surrender 2012 Match:
TNA Women’s Knockout Championship
Tara vs. Brooke Tessmacher(c)

—Jeremy Borash interviewed Knockouts Champion Miss Tessmacher before this “Teacher versus Student” match. Brooke noted that Tara taught her everything she knew in the ring, and talked about her loss to Tara on Open Fight Night (August 23, 2012 Knockouts Results). After the interview, a Knockouts Tale of the Tape was played. Tara made her way to the ring first, followed by Champion Brooke Tessmacher. Taryn Terrell (Profile) was already in the ring for the match. This match saw Brooke Tessmacher pick up the win after countering Tara’s Widow’s Peak with a roll-up…

Winner(s): Tara

After the match, Brooke shook Tara’s hand; however, she did not look happy about the loss.

Thoughts: The beginning of this match was done really well, as both Tara and Brooke aggressively jockey for position in their exchange. Nicely done at the beginning, with the “Teacher versus Student” struggle really being felt. Brooke did a good job selling her frustration and will to beat Tara. However; What started of great, ended a bit shaky. This was decent, but nothing memorable.

QUICK RESULTS:

1–Bound for Glory Series Semi-Final match: Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe
2–Bound for Glory Series Semi-Final match: Bully Ray defeated James Storm
3–Knockout Championship: Miss Tessmacher (c) defeated Tara
4–Austin Aries vs. “The Armbreaker” – No Contest
5–X Division Championship: Zema Ion (c) defeated Sonjay Dutt
6–Rob Van Dam defeated Magnus

.i really liked it, felt the ending was a bit rushed into it but in the
beginning great story telling and both women played off their
frustration very well. It is a replica of Beth vs. Mickie Armageddon,
the crowd’s interaction kinda killed it, they weren’t as loud as usual

It looks like they’re kinda hinting at a Tara heel turn…it seemed like she was gonna attack Brooke, but then changed her mind afterwards.

Tara definitely works better as a heel, in terms of persona, move-set and physicality. I suppose I don’t want to see it, because of the big picture… The Knockouts Tag Titles still exist. With so many Knockouts gone, it would be in TNA best interest to at least keep the teams that are left together.

      • Yaso

Yeah you’re right Tara works better as a heel…she was a really good one when she was with WWE too…they should definitely challenge Eric Young and ODB for the titles, or at least strip them off the titles because they’ve had them for a long time…let them feud with Madison Rayne and Gail Kim for the titles.

Rosita was recently removed from ImpactWrestling.com’s Knockouts Gallery. Things are not looking up.

Oh no :( ..this is bad (why are they letting all the good knockouts go?) . I guess Sarita will probably be let go too unless they find a way to push her as a singles competitor.

She is on the site again, but who knows. Sarita was an amazing face. Always wanted to see Kong vs Sarita.

              • Yaso

Oh ok then…idk maybe she’s gonna remain with them. That’s nice…I only watched Sarita when she was a heel ( I stopped watching wrestling for a while a couple of years ago) I guess I’ll check some of her matches from back then. Was she over as a face? This feud would be really interesting to see…when will Awesome Kong be able to compete again with TNA?

it was a very good match with some nice proper wrestling at the start. the way it was set up was a little confusing. Tara was teasing a heel turn at the end yet Brooke was the one acting heelish in the match. She acted very bratty and sulky and came across as very full of herself in the interview before the match

  • Paul

Very Nice Match My Fave KO Brooke was bratty during the match and Tara hinted a heel turn but i want TNT to become Tag Champs or atleast have Madison Rayne and Gail Kim Tag Champs i really feel Rayne and Tara could be good heels together and Gail would be an awesome face and we need new KO’s and we need more usage too bad TNA has one show
