Eve Torres was seen backstage making her way to the ring for her match. William Regal wished her good luck, in which Eve Torres said that she did not need.
WWE Divas – August 17, 2012 Smackdown Match: Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres
—Theodore Long (Senior Advisor to Smackdown General Manager Booker T), was seen sitting by the commentary table, followed by Kaitlyn making her entrance. A recap was seen on Kaitlyn’s victory on WWE Raw (See: August 13, 2012 Raw Results), followed by Eve Torres making her way to the ring. The ladies locked up, with Eve backing Kaitlyn into the ropes. Eve’s attempt to control this match did not go well, with Kaitlyn taking the fight to her. The ladies then went back–and–fort, jockeying for control of the match. The finish saw Kaitlyn climb to the top ropes, only for Eve to pull her down to the mat. Eve Torres then hit her Snap spinning neckbreaker for the win…
Winner(s):Eve Torres at 2:16
After the match, Eve Torres approached Booker T backstage, where Booker asked whether or not Theodore Long and her would be able to get along.
Thoughts: Short but nice match. It served its purpose, to get Eve Torres back in an administrative position on WWE programming.
ok the segments and the match pretty much gave the Divas pretty good time considering this was Smackdown first Divas Match since July 3rd which was a mixed tag with Layla and Khali vs Cesaro and Aksana the last singles match was June 29 AJ vs Layla

Not a bad match at all. I think this is probably the best Eve has looked in the ring since she turned heel. She really made an effort and didn’t just slap on a chinlock for the whole match. Nice to see Kaitlyn do an un-Diva-ish back body drop. Only pet peeve is Eve waiting for so long to hit her finisher
