WWE Divas – August 13, 2012 Raw Match: Tag-Team Match Layla and Kaitlyn vs. Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix
—WWE Divas Champion Layla and Kaitlyn made their way to the ring first for this WWE Divas Tag-Team match. Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix were out next for the match. During their entrances, the commentators plugged Kaitlyn versus Eve Torres for the August 17, 2012 episode of Smackdown. Layla and Beth Phoenix wrestled the beginning of this match, with Beth tagging in Eve who had temporary control of the match. Layla was able to gain control, and we saw some of her usual offense. Kaitlyn was tagged in, hitting a back-breaker on Eve, followed by some more offense. Eve was able to take control after pulling Kaitlyn from the top ropes. Phoenix was tagged in, leaving Kaitlyn in need of a tag. Despite Beth’s dominance, Kailyn was able to pull off a roll-up for the win…
Winner(s):Layla and Kaitlyn at 4:18
Thoughts: This match was not without its flaws, but refreshing. It was great to see Kaitlyn, Beth Phoenix and Layla wrestling on Raw, after rarely being used in the past few months. It was great that the match went over 4 minutes. And even more refreshing, was that the purpose of the match, was to build Smackdown’s Divas match; Eve Torres versus Kaitlyn. The winner of Smackdown’s match, will become the assistant to the General Manager of Smackdown.
Finally, the WWE Divas Champion Layla got some TV time, even if it was a Tag-Match. Despite not exactly being on her game tonight, the WWE really needs to keep her relevant, or just have her drop the belt.
AJ on the other hand, was once again great in her role as General manager of Raw. Her backstage segment with Kaitlyn was a very nice touch, considering their history.
Awesome match for the Divas they are getting more time great too see they are getting booked better this is a big step forward for the Divas who have proved they are not completely dead with this match
Anyone Watch Stars Earn Stripes with Eve it was on before Raw OMG Eve is back in her real personality a face yay
Hope there is a divas match at Summerslam
But Night Of Champions will be the end of Layla reign i am 100% sure

I was happy that the match got more time but poor Eve did not have a good night. Her selling was all over the place and I just wanted her to tag Beth in before she seriously hurt someone. But on the bright side Kaitlyn performed really well, especially since she hasn’t wrestled on Raw before. And another bright side is how Layla worked the crowd. It’s such a simple thing yet so many Divas don’t do it. She got them into the match. Even if she’s not getting as much TV time, I feel she’s really handled the switch from heel to face pretty well. Too bad the reverse can’t be said for Eve

Totally hate Layla’s “bubbly stuff.” Too cheesy for me.
As for Kaitlyn, (and women like Tamina for a matter of fact, who are still relatively green.), they don’t have to do anything flashy. Their physical appearance gives them presence. Kaitlyn was understandably way too green during NXT, but right now, I do enjoy her in the ring, despite her short comings.
