Knockouts – August 9, 2012 Impact Wrestling Match: Gail Kim vs. Brooke Tessmacher
—Gail Kim made her way to the ring first for this Knockouts match, followed by a recap of last week’s 4-Way #1 contender match. Knockouts Champion Miss Tessmacher then made her way to the ring. Gail Kim attempted an early attack on Tessmacher on the apron; however, Brooke stepped out of the way, sending Kim to ringside. This did not help Brooke, who found herself on defense almost immediately after throwing Kim back in the ring. Brooke was able to get some offense in the end, and hit her finsih…

After the match, Madison Rayne made her way to the ring, and made out with referee Earl Hebner.
Thoughts: This was a short match, in comparison to what we are use to from the Knockouts. Despite this, nice chemistry and match from Kim and Tessmacher. Nice booking going into TNA Hardcore Justice. The match can really go either way. It should be interesting to see who walks away Knockouts Champion on Sunday.
After the match, Socal Val hosted the Impact Wrestling Post Show. The show featured an interview from Gail Kim by Jeremy Borash, where she talked about her loss to Brooke Tessmacher. Nice interview by Kim, where she also talked about starring on Food Network’s Wedding Impossible and Madison Rayne…
awesome job by my fave KO the Brooke loved the Tess Shot hope she retains this Sunday wish they had used Winter,Sarita or Rosita to lose in this match like we have seen Brooke vs Gail enough

Why have you lost interest?
I would say the lack of multiple stories, which have left a lot of Knockouts with nothing to do, has definitely taken its toll on the Division in the past months.

That and because I’ve pretty much saw all that Tara and Mickie could offer. Gail was great when she redebuted, yet that fizzle fizzed out quickly imo. The program with Karen kept it interesting as one never knew what was coming next.
I think some heel turns are in order, especially for Mickie. I feel we’ve seen her star enough as a face during her prime in WWE.
Granted, creative has been horrible lately. Tess as a champ is good as it keeps the title fresh; it’s just that she still lacks that “it” factor. That energy, She’s still growing and I hope that changes in the coming weeks.
