WWE Divas segment reportedly scraped from Raw’s 1,000th episode

—Rumor around the internet, is that a WWE Divas segment was scrapped from WWE Raw’s 1,000th episode due the time constraints. The segment was said to involve Kelly Kelly…

A third segment involving WWE Divas was scripted for Raw 1,000 but nixed due to many of the show’s early segments running long. The Wrestling Observer believes Kelly Kelly, who has been absent since May, was slated to appear.

I can confirm that she was booked for a segment on the show, and she was not happy about her segment being cut. According to someone close to her, she was reluctant to make the appearance but ultimately decided to agree since WWE had been accommodating her request for a sabbatical to pursue her acting and modeling career.

A day before the show, Kelly Kelly tweeted “On the road again. Can’t wait to see everyone at the #raw1000.” (Kelly Kelly returning on WWE Raw’s 1000th Episode)

Wait, 3 hours and WWE STILL couldn’t fit a Divas segment into it? Wow, now we know how the 3-hour RAW episodes will be turn out.

  I was looking forward to the 3 hour Raw’s for one thing in the Divas Division… Kharma!. Now it should be interesting to see what happens surrounding the Divas Title. It seems like no matter who the champion is, Layla, Beth Phoenix, the champion is never used. It seemed for awhile that the WWE had all their stock in Kharma, but really, the Divas are at the bottom of the barrel regardless. I suppose we were all hoping to see Kharma save the Division. oh how hour dreams have been shattered

    I’ve read that she requested her release. Very unfortunate. I hope to her return to feud with Del Ray. While WWE is at it, hire Daizee Haze as Kharma’s mouth piece and manager.

      Daizee Haze and Kharma are all amazing athletes, seeing them compete in the WWE would be an unreal experience. kharma being pushed could have opened the doorway to actually see competitive women’s wrestling again on WWE Television. Where did you read she “requested her release.”

        On Twitter, one of her followers asked if she was granted her release and she said yes, WWE granted her her release. Usually, WWE grants releases to those that ask for them. She also mentioned that she’ll return.

        I did read that tweet originally. however, I was not under the impression that she asked for her release based on a few reports. Hopefully she comes back soon. She is still truly valuable to the wwe.
