Knockouts – July 26, 2012 Impact Wrestling Match: TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Match: Madison Rayne & Gail Kim vs. Mickie James & Tara
—Madison Rayne and Gail Kim were introduced first for this match, followed by a recap of Madison Rayne kissing Earl Hebner 3 weeks ago on Impact Wrestling. Mickie James and Tara then made their way to the ring. It was announced that on the August 2, 2012 episode of Impact Wrestling all four ladies will compete in a 4-way match to become #1 contender for the Knockouts Championship. Gail and Tara began this match going back–and-fort… Tara got the better of Kim followed by tagging in Mickie James to do some damage. Gail Kim turned the match in her teams favor, and tagged in Madison who continued the control on Mickie James. James got the hot-tag to Tara, who took the fight to Madison. Tara and Mickie then double-teamed Madison, followed by a double team to Kim. Mickie James was able to roll-up Madison Rayne for what seemed to be a win. Unfortunately Mickie’s shoulder was also on the mat (despite getting her shoulder up). Unfortunately for Mickie and Tara, Earl called the match in Kim and Rayne’s favor…
Winner(s):Madison Rayne & Gail Kim at 3:48
Thoughts: Nice work by all four ladies. Mickie James reversing Gail Kim’s springboard arm drag was a very nice spot. It is great to see build starting towards TNA Hardcore Justice. With Earl Hebner’s involvement, will we see Madison Rayne face Miss Tessmacher at Hardcore Justice? It should be interesting to see the outcome next week.
