–Before Raw’s mixed tag-team match, AJ was seen backstage, as Daniel Bryan tried to get on her good side. Bryan’s attempt was due to the fact that AJ was named special guest referee in Bryan’s Championship match against CM Punk at Money in the Bank 2012 (June 29, 2012 Smackdown Results). Unfortunately for Bryan, the attempt did not work…

Mixed Tag-Team Match:
World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus & AJ vs. Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero

—The WWE Slam of the WWE was played, which was Vickie Guerrero slapping Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown. Vickie then introduced herself as “Queen Diva Vickie Guerrero,” followed by introducing her tag-team partner Dolph Ziggler. AJ then made her way to the ring, followed by World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Dolph and Sheamus wrestled the majority of this match. The end saw Sheamus Brogue Kick Dolph to ringside. This left Vickie and AJ in the ring, where AJ hit a Shining wizard for the win…

Winner: Sheamus & AJ

After the match, AJ searched for CM Punk Backstage. AJ found CM Punk backstage on the phone, which caused him to miss her match. This upset AJ, and she walked away.

AJ later had a run-in with the returning Eve Torres. The two exchanged words disparaging words to each other…

It was very apparent that AJ was on edge, and about to do something extreme. This came during the show’s main event, where John Cena and C.M. Punk teamed up to take on Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho.

Thoughts: Another excellent night for AJ. Jim Ross was right, to name AJ “break out performer in WWE so far in 2012″ (Jim Ross Praises AJ), she certainly is. It was also great to see Eve Torres back on Raw, her and AJ delivered an excellent backstage promo. Now if only the WWE Diva Title picture could get this much attention.
