WWE Divas – June 25, 2012 Raw Segment Divas Summertime Beach Battle Royal AJ, Vickie Guerrero, Tamina, Layla, Beth Phoenix, Maxine, Rosa Mendes, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn & Aksana.
—All the Divas were in the ring for this match, followed by Vickie Guerrero’s music hitting, as she made her way to compete in the match. Vickie Guerrero strutted around the ring taunting the other Divas before she disrobed. As the bell rang, most of the Divas went after Vickie. Maxine was first to be eliminated—by Alicia Fox, followed by Tamina eliminating Aksana. Alicia Fox was then eliminated after a kick from Tamina. Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes were then eliminated. The next to go was Tamina at the hands of Beth and Natalya, who were then eliminated next. AJ them eliminated WWE Divas Champion Layla, followed by AJ eliminating Vickie to win the match…
Thoughts: This match, which most might classify as “T&A,” was more entertaining that anything that has happened in the WWE Women’s Division in the past few months. Was it because of swimsuits?… no, not exactly. It was because the segment focused on two Divas fans actually care about… AJ and Vickie Guerrero. Now if time can only be invested into other Divas.
