On the June 14, 2012 edition of iMpact Wrestling new Knockouts Champion Brooke Tessmacher took on Madison Rayne, while Gail Kim had a talk with Brooke Hogan about her rematch clause.

Madison Rayne vs.  Brooke Tessmacher

- Out first is Madison Rayne followed by the new Knockouts Champion Brooke Tessmacher. Brooke takes early control with a side headlock and then she flips it into a takeover. Tessmacher then takes Rayne down with an Arm Drag, then lays her out with a drop kick and then a drop toe hold into a front face lock. Madison works her way up to her feet and pushes Tessmacher into the corner and goes charging, but only gets a big ole’ boot to the face. Madison goes running again, and this time she catches Brooke’s boot and swings her into the ropes and then pulls her off the ropes by her hair. Rayne then pulls the new Knockouts Champion up and slams her face first into the top turnbuckle. She then squishes her with a hip slam and goes running off the ropes taking Tessmacher down with a running Facebuster, for a two count. Tessmacher recovers here and the two exchange forearms. Madioson goes for a backbody drop, but Tessmacher reverses it into a Neckbreaker and then a couple clotheslines before hitting her patented Corner Facebuster. Brooke goes for the TessShoker, but Madison hits her with a knee and tries for the Rayne Drop, but Tessmacher rolls out and lays Madison out with a new Clotheslines-Reverse DDT type maneuver for the three count.

Winner: Brooke Tessmacher at 2:50

-Backstage former Knockouts Champion Gail Kim meets with Brooke Hogan about her rematch. Brooke tells Gail how next week there will be a Fatal Four Way for the Knockouts Championship, but this angers Gail who says she has a rematch! Hogan tells Gail that her rematch happens whenever Brooke says it happens and that since Gail doesn’t want to compete in the four way she gives her a vacation.

Thoughts: Pretty decent match. I’m not sure how I feel about Tessmacher’s new finisher. I’m a really big fan of unique finishers, and the TessShocker was epic looking. Madison and Tessmacher have some really good chemistry and Madison was the right opponent for Tessmacher’s first match as Champion. And Brooke Hogan was really good in that backstage segment. I wasn’t too sure about the woman when she came to TNA, but so far she hasn’t been too bad. It’ll be interesting to see who TNA pushes with Gail going on vacation. I’d like to see Sarita finally get a Knockouts Title shot, but it’ll probably be Mickie James or Angelina Love.
