On the May 24, 2012 edition of iMpact Gail Kim used the Open Fight Night policy to call out TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions ODB & Eric Young.

- TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim and her BFFFFFFFFFF Madison Rayne come out to open iMpact Wrestling. Gail talks about how great it is to be her, and how this company revolves around her, as it should. Kim says there is only one blemish on her otherwise perfect record: Losing the TNA Knockouts Tag team championships to a man (Eric Young) and what is supposedly a woman (ODB). Gail uses the Open Fight Night policy and calls out the Tag Team champs for a Non-Title match.(BTW: Shout outs for Angelina Love & Velvet Sky backstage! Possible Beautiful People reunion?!)

Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs. Eric Young & ODB

- Gail Kim and Eric Young start the match, and unlike all of their previous encounters Eric actually fights back.  After some back and forth hold locking Young easily lifts the KO champion from behind, which gets him scolded from his wife. ODB tags herself in and lays out the champ with some clubs and then a…ummm…chest pump? Maybe? ODB then hits a picture perfect Fall-Away Slam and a kip up, before knocking Madison Rayne off the apron. We get to see a couple commercials (sorry this is the only full video I could find!!!) before we come back to see Kim straight up decapitate ODB. Kim gets a close two count and tags in Madison Rayne. Rayne trash talks ODB and then levels her with a straight up nasty kick to the side of the head. Kim tags herself in and she and Madison throw ODB into the corner, Gail throws Madison into her and then gets aggravated when Madison forgets her, which leads to her getting the holy hell speared out of her. The two ladies tag their partners and Madison wastes no time getting in Eric’s face. After a slap he levels her with a  Hip Toss, then takes out Gail as well. He then slams Madison down with a Scoop Slam, and does the same to Kim. At this ODB realizes her husband no longer has pants on and demands he put them back on, asking if he’s trying to knock the other knockouts up! ODB lays out Kim with a couple shoulder charges and then a nice, big Powerslam. She gets a two count and goes for the BAM TKO, but Gail wiggles free. Gail goes running and ODB catches her, looking for another Fall-Away Slam, but this time Madison trips her, and holds her down as the ref counts the three count.  Gail Kim & Madison Rayne win, much to the anger of ODB.

Winners: Gail Kim & Madison Rayne at about 4 Minutes.

Thoughts: Loved the Gail promo. She said the truth and quite frankly she deserves all these acclamations she’s getting. She’s easily one of the best Knockouts (Next to Mickie James & Tara in this writers humble opinion) she can work a mic, she’s a tremendously skilled wrestler and can carry the new girls to easily 4 star level matches.

The match was fine for what it’s worth. I’m ready for ODB and Eric Young to drop the Tag team Titles, maybe they can move back into the regular Tag Team Title picture. Or break them up and have ODB turn the Tag team Titles into a secondary KO singles title. Maybe. I don’t know.
