On the April 20, 2012 episode of Smackdown, AJ faced Natalya …

The show started with Daniel Bryan cutting a promo on his match against Sheamus at WWE Extreme Rules. This prompted AJ to come to the ring, where she tried to work things out with Daniel, who broke up with her two weeks ago on Smackdown (Daniel Bryan breaks up with AJ). Instead of working things out, Bryan berated AJ to the point of tears.

AJ vs. Natalya

—After the commercials, Natalya made her way to the ring, with AJ still devastated in the ring by Daniel’s comments. After the bell rang, AJ stood in the ring motionless. This prompted Natalya to check on AJ. AJ instead slapped Natalya in the face, and proceeded to attacked her. AJ was then disqualified, for not being able to control her emotions….

Winner(s): Natalya in 48 seconds by Disqualification

In a WWE.com exclusive, AJ was seen backstage after the incident…

Thoughts: It is no secret… it has not been a good year for Natalya. AJ on the other hand, has been the Diva with the biggest storyline. This was another great week for AJ, with great continuing of her story with Daniel Bryan. Nice job by AJ, much better than Eve’s execution of her storyline with Zack Ryder.
