Mercedes Martinez vs. Lexxus

On August 6, 2011, major shakeups took place in WSU (WSUWrestling.com), setting the stage for WSU’s next Internet-Pay-Per-View and 5th Anniversary show.

Mercedes Martinez proved once again why she is the best Champion in wrestling today, as she defended the WSU Championship in the main event of the first show. Merecedes defeated Lexxus—one-half of the WSU Tag Team Champions, in a phenomenal match that went well over an hour. The match broke Mercedes vs. Angel Orsini’s record (2009: Match of the Year), surpassing their 70-minute match. This alone makes the DVD a must have for any Women’s Wrestling fan. Lexxus went on the successfully defend the WSU Tag-Team Titles on Taping Two, as The Boston Shore defeated Jana & Jessie “Bonesaw” Brooks. (Lexxus Lethalwow.com Interview)

"Pryme Tyme" Amy Lee retires from WrestlingBrittney Savage Two major shake-ups on Taping one came after Brittney Savage faced “Pryme Tyme” Amy Lee in an Uncensored Rules match. After taking a vicious beating at the hands of Amy Lee, Brittney Savage was able to pick up the win. Brittney Savage had a face turn, followed by Amy Lee announcing that the match was her last. The second taping saw Brittney Savage align herself with the top two babyfaces in WSU—Merceds and Alicia, and Amy Lee announcing that despite retiring from in-ring action, she will continue to appear in WSU as the promotion’s commissioner.

1—4-way Match: Allysin Kay defeated Niya, Tina San Antonio & Marti Belle (Spirit Title #1 Contender). After the match Alicia attacked Allysin Kay.

2—NYWC Starlet Championship: Nikki Styx defeated Barbie with a tombstone piledriver.

3—Jana & Jessie “Bonesaw” Brooks defeated Jennifer Cruz & Monique

4—Serena Deeb defeated Annie Social. After the match, Rain challenged Serena to a match.

5—Spirit Championship: Sassy Stephie defeated Amber. Allysin Kay was at ringside for the match (PIC).

6—Gabby Gilbert defeated Violet

7—Uncensored Rules match: Brittney Savage defeated Amy Lee

8—WSU Championship: Mercedes Martinez defeated Lexxus

1—Annie Social defeated Monique

2—Gabby Gilbert defeated Rick Cataldo

3—WSU Tag Team Championship: The Boston Shore (Amber & Lexxus) defeated Jana & Jessie “Bonesaw” Brooks.

4—NYWC Starlet Championship: Nikki Styx defeated Niya

Jessica Havok5—Spirit Championship: Sassy Stephie vs. Alliysin Kay went to a no-contest. Jessicka Havok interrupted the match, and the three ladies formed the “Midwest Militia.” Marti Belle & Tina San Antonio then challenged Sassy Stephie and Alliysin Kay to a match.

6—Sassy Stephie & Allysin Kay defeated The Belle Saints

7. Serena Deeb defeated Rain. The Boston Shore attacked Serena and Rain after their match. The Boston Shore challenged Serena Deeb & Rain to a match at the next WSU iPPV. They accepted.

8. Brittney Savage defeated Jennifer Cruz.

9. Last Woman Standing: Jessicka Havok vs. Alicia (w/Mercedes Martinez) to a no-contest. Brittney Savage came out to assist Mercedes and Alicia after a vicious attack from the Midwest Militia. Amy Lee came out, announcing that she was now the commissioner of WSU. Amy Lee set up numerous matches for WSU’s next Internet-Pay-Per-View and 5th Anniversary show.

After the second taping, the entire roster came to the ring for a retirement ceremony for Amy Lee.
