On the May 27, 2010 edition of TNA Impact, Velvet Sky and Lacey successfully defended the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship against Sarita and Taylor Wilde.
TNA Knockouts – May 27, 2010 Impact Match: TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship The Beautiful People(c) vs. Sarita & Taylor Wilde
—Before the match, Roxxi was interviewed by Christy Hemme, who revealed that she would be facing Madison for the TNA Women’s Knockout Championship at TNA Slammiversary. Sarita and Taylor Wilde were then seen in the ring, as Puppet The Psycho Dwarf of Half Pint Brawlers was doing guest commentary. The Beautiful People then made their way to the ring.
Velvet and Sarita started this match, with Velvet getting a hip toss. Sarita quickly took control, and followed by tagging in Taylor Wilde. A few tag exchanges between Taylor and Sarita, saw Velvet on the defense. The match was able to turn in the Beautiful People when Lacey clotheslined Taylor from the apron. Velvet then tagged in Lacey, and they double teamed Taylor in the corner. Lacey then hit a chokeslam for the win.
Winner: The Beautiful People at 2:41
After the match, Puppet The Psycho Dwarf ran down to the ring while the Beautiful People were celebrating. After a few high fives from the Beautiful People, he slapped Velvet on the butt. This got him a DDT from Madison, followed by kicks from a disgusted Velvet.
Lacey on the other hand went to check on Puppet. He followed by making out with her, and she returned the favor as they rolled around in the ring.
Thoughts: The dreadful era of The Beautiful People continues, what more can we expect? This was basically a plug for Half Pint Brawlers. At least we get to see Maddy and Roxxi go at at Slammiversary.
