On the March 12, 2010 episode of Smackdown, Tiffany defeated WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool by disqualification.
WWE Divas – March 12, 2010 Smackdown Match:
Michelle McCool vs. Tiffany
—This week on Smackdown, the writers continued to deliver on a storyline basis, and while the execution of the segment was not perfect, this one gets 2-thumbs up.
Michelle McCool made her way out to the ring first for this match, accompanied by her tag team partner, Layla El and the official consultant to SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero. Tiffany followed, to a huge yawn from the overly confident Michelle McCool. After the bell rang, Michelle shoved Tiffany to the mat, and then proceeded by doing some push-ups.
What followed was a slew of unexpected offense from Tiffany that caught Michelle off-guard. After kicking Michelle to ringside, the ladies brawled on the outside, with Tiffany owning McCool. Vickie Guerrero had enough, and proceeded to knock Tiffany to the ground. This resulted in McCool being disqualified.
Winner: Tiffany at 1:30 by disqualification.
After the match, Michelle proceeded to assault Tiffany at ringside, and then inside the ring. Beth Phoenix then ran down to the ring, cleaning house of Michelle and Layla. After teasing the crowd, Beth clotheslined Vickie. Vickie then escaped being being glam slammed.
Once again, good stuff, with Vickie Guerreo’s involvement in the women’s division being a great move in getting them over.
Beth was awesom!!
Tiffany did good as well. Loose that skirt tho…… This was a great segment. Next week will probably be Beth and Tiffany vs Michelle and Layla w/ Vicki. Great storyline.
I was really impressed by Tiffanys aggression and she seemed really comfortable. Will be looking forward to seeing her work a bit more.
Beth was fierce tonight. I think face will be a good change for her and it’s a clever move pitting her against Vicky, one of the most hated heels on SD.
I really enjoyed what the Divas did on SD! The only negative was Tiffany’s attire. Looked like an 80’s cheerleader Barbie. Other than that, everything came across really well. Tiffany was enjoyable to watch in the ring. Her shots at McCool were on point and she actually comes across as likable and genuine (great replacement for Maria). Possible Trish in the making?
I prefer Beth as a tweener, but it looks like there’s only room for one dominant heel on SD! I do look forward to a proper one on one b/w Beth and Michelle.
If they need her, shouldn’t be long before the rest are released.

Think that was me; Login problem.
