This week’s TNA & WWE Matches, Mickie James, Ashley Massaro, Jenna Morasca, Sassy Stephie, Melissa Anderson & More

Since the last edition of The Rundown, there has been a few noteworthy matches and occurrences.

—On Impact, Awesome Kong defeated her “former” manager Raisha Saeed, portrayed by the amazing Melissa Anderson. After the match, Awesome Kong powerbombed Raisha off the Impact Zone entrance ramp. Yet another brutal spot from the TNA Knockouts. This may have possibly been TNA writing off Raisha’s character. This would make way for Melissa Anderson to focus on her “Alissa Flash,” character. (Impact Results)

—On the same night, the WWE Divas didn’t look too shabby on WWE Superstars. Kelly Kelly defeated Gail Kim in a nice Divas match-up. This might have been a hard pill to swallow for many veteran Women of Wrestling aficionados, however, this was done in a believable way.

—On Smackdown, Mickie James defeated Layla. Yet another model turn wrestler with a decent showing against a vet. Mickie James looked noticeably better than she has been in recent times. (Smackdown! Results)

—On Saturday 24th, WSU World Champion Mercedes Martinez battled Angel Orsini in a 15minute match, which concluded with a draw. Jamie D. (Formerly Sirelda from TNA) was involved in the match, attacking both Mercedes and Angel, on behalf of Rain. As reported on Lethalwow, Angel Orsini is scheduled to take on former 2-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz on the 12/12 at WSU’s event. (Jazz (Carlene Begnaud) is set to debut at Women Superstars Uncensored)

—Also this past weekend, was TNA Knockouts Champion ODB taking on Alissa Flash at TNA live events.

—At Sunday’s WWE Bragging Rights, Smackdown Divas Michelle McCool, Natalya and Beth Phoenix defeated Melina Perez, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly. This was a good showing from the WWE Divas, however, a day later on Raw, Melina and Jillian faced off against each other in the context of a mixed tag team match—This one did not turn out well at all. —Former TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca, has a new interview up on fangoria.com. (Click Here For The Interview).

—According to allaccess.com, Mickie James may have her eyes set on becoming a country singer. 411mania.com and pwinsider.com were on of the first wrestling news sites to report this. (Click Here For The Story)

Jersey All Pro Wrestling Women’s Division is gearing up for their big show in November, “GIRL POWER.” Cheerleader Melissa is set to face off against Nikki Roxx, and the winner will face Sara Del Rey in the Main Event. In another great match up, Allison Danger will take on Daizee Haze.

Brittany Force is set to make her JAPW Women’s Division debut that night, and Sassy Stephie will also be on the card.

—There are pictures floating around of former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro making an appearance in CMLL in Mexico.

—Buzz for Candice Michelle as a future TNA Knockout is making another round in the internet community.

—After TNA Bound For Glory, rumors of Daffney breaking her arm ran wild. This should still be filed under “Rumor,” as signs are pointing towards this not being true.

Awesome Kong, Luna Vachon and Lacey Von Erich are quite the subject of wrestling drama over the last few days. Lethalwow has chosen not to feature these occurrences.
