—This week on Smackdown, Layla came into her own story-wise, as she defeated Melina, after weeks of defeat by the hands of the former 3-Time Women’s Champion. On WWE Superstars, Katie Lea Burchill suffered a loss once again in a match against a Bella.
—In continuation of the Maria and Dolph Ziggler soap opera, Ziggler, Layla and McCool were involved in backstage segment. Michelle was recorded groping Ziggler’s rear, while being recorded by Layla. This is obviously purposely going to be shown to Maria, to create tension between her and Ziggler.
…on to the match. Layla defeated Melina after Michelle McCool hit Melina with a crutch on the outside.
Star Of The Match: Layla. WWE Divas fans have been singing Layla’s praises for weeks now. With this match, she gets credit…This was the most natural she has looked in the ring. This can be partly due to continuous work with Melina. In time we will see.

—On WWE Superstars, Nikki Bella defeated Katie Lea Burchill, when Brie Bella switched places for the finish. Brie hit a top rope cross-body on Katie for the win. Very repetitive booking, but at least this match was better than what we have seen in the past.
Star Of The Match: Katie Lea. She undoubtedly carried this match, and looked amazing in all her jobbing glory.

With Michelle McCool and Melina on Smackdown, I don’t see Layla holding the WWE Women’s Title anytime soon. Eve and even Natalya are likely to hold a title before Layla does.

I have to say that this was definitely the best Layla has looked in the ring ever! As you said, she looked natural and not like she was trying to remember her moves. She is a little spark plug and I would love to see her shine more in the ring.

Yes definitely, nothing in comparison though to what we saw from Alicia Fox on Raw though. Great to see you here. I love your work. I need to link your website much more.

Thanks for the compliment. I only just started checking out your site on a regular basis as I’ve gotten a bit more interested in wwe. You are like one-stop shopping! lol I haven’t seen the Alicia Fox match yet, but she looked promising even when she was at FCW. Thanks for your great work.
