It’s time for another issue of “The Rundown!”…great week for the TNA Knockouts, with Awesome Kong regaining the Women’s title in Las Vegas, TNA’s first live show outside of Florida. Also that night was the continuation of Christy Hemme’s face turn.
—Christy Hemme who turned 28 this week, defeated Velvet Sky in the opening match of last week’s historic iMPACT!. Christy hit her FFG from the second rope for the 1-2-3. Christy & ODB will take on Angelina Love & Velvet Sky on this week’s iMPACT!.
—Awesome Kong finally regained the TNA Women’s title after hitting Taylor Wilde with a disastrous power-bomb. Although it was a short match, the ladies delivered live with a face paced perfectly executed match. The interference by Raisha Saeed didn’t hurt the match in any way although many would have preferred a clean win from Kong. Now hopefully we can see a program between Awesome Kong and Roxxi for the title.
—On the 2008-11-01 Issue Date of Billboard, TNA: Knocked Out debuted at number 5 on the Recreational Sports DVD Video Sales. This is great for the Knockouts.

—Last week,
Danyah Rivietz won her first match in Shimmer defeating Cat Power. The match was taped for Shimmer Volume 22.
Danyah had the following to say to Lethalwow.com…
It’s an honor to be part of the Shimmer roster win or lose. All the girls involved work extremely hard to put forth a solid performance, and to be part of that experience means a lot to me.
My goal is to continue to work hard, move up the ranks and continue to gain recognition for the hard work I put in.

Seriously! How did I not win the Diva Costume Contest ?! For those of you that watched the WWE Cyber Sunday pay-per-view, I think you’ll agree that I had the best outfit in the history of produce related costumes. Two years in a row I have been robbed. But in all honesty, I had a blast. I dressed up as a banana and sang the “Peanut Butter Jelly Time” Song, and I got paid to do it. I need to be counting my blessings.
